We adopted a young cattle dog mix named Jewel and took her on a vacation to the Northwest...along the way, we realized that we would need to do some obedience work with her and so started calling places back home in Flagstaff and the first three didn't answer or return calls; then Bridey from Topline called back the same afternoon. We set up a meeting in our home when we returned and Bridey came and saw Jewel and remarked that she also had a cattle dog and knew how mischievous they could be. We agreed to have her do the 2 week board and obedience class in Sedona right after Labor Day. When we saw Jewel after the first week, Bridey met us in a park and began teaching us how to work with Jewel. We immediately saw that she was noticeably calmer and followed our commands. When Bridey brought her home after the second week, it was even better. Jewel now walks without pulling, sits and stays, and eagerly takes to her crate. The difference has been profound, and though we know there's still work to be done, it's been amazing. We have Bridey's phone number and can call her anytime for help. This past weekend we took Jewel down to the Village of Oak Creek for a follow up meeting in a park for recent graduates. Jewel was super excited to see Bridey which was great to see and then performed well for the next hour with the other dogs. It was great for us to see others working on the same things and also for Jewel to have time to socialize with other dogs. We're very happy with the results and consider the money very well spent. Our 11 year old Twila who loved to bark at every passing person or dog going by our house and was not leashed train was moving with us to a 55 plus community where she would have to get along and socialize with other dogs both on and off leash. I have become more attached to Twila because she listens to me and obeys my commands. It was an amazing transformation. We had a fantastic experience sending our dog Luna to the 2-week board & train program. Excellent staff communication — we received adorable video updates about Luna’s progress, and *so* much support in implementing her new training tools at home. Trainers were very clear and maintained a positive mindset, even though our dog was a bit of a challenging case. They answered all our questions thoroughly, and with confidence, which really helped us to feel confident in working with our dog at home. On a separate occasion, we sent a different dog to a different 2-week training program in the area, and truly the results are not even worth comparing — Topline K9’s program was far superior in every aspect.
