Topline Canine

I adopted the cute little nugget but had no idea this cute little fluff would be so challenging. He is small but mighty! Super dominant, little dog complex, he’d lunch and bark aggressively at every dog we’d approach on walks. It got so bad that I was embarrassed to walk him! How could I not control this 5.5lb dog. He also had a few other quirks indoors like not wanting to give up his toys or treats ( would growl and hold on with a death grip if you tried to take away). Anyway I called Stephanie and Rob and asked them to help me have better control and a better relationship with Ollie. After the 2 wk board and train, he truly was a different dog. When we walked through the farmers market and Ollie had no reaction to any dog we encountered...I was blown away. Most importantly they taught me to have the confidence to control him in any setting. Stephanie made me aware that he will always be a dominant dog and that I will always need to stay on top of his behavior and just knowing that and having the tools to do so has made me love my little Ollie! I brought home an adorable puppy, which my friends soon nicknamed ""the terrorist". She would chew furniture, shoes, kleenex, hands, arms, and my other dog. She would sit for a treat but that was the extent of her "good" behavior. She would not lay down, would not come when called, would tug on the leash, and would run from you and it would take 2 or 3 people to catch her if she got outside off leash. I did all the tried and true techniques I had learned over the years with my other dogs; but nothing worked for me with her. I was exhausted!! Enter Topline K9 and Stephanie. MIRACLE WORKERS. They took in my puppy and worked with her, sending me videos so I could "visit' her. I also went to their location and worked with her twice and could take videos of Stephanie working with her so I could study them. 2 weeks later she came home and I have a darling sweet puppy. She can race around my yard off leash with my other dog and if she goes "out of boundary" she comes back when called. She walks on her leash loosely so I'm not dragged, if she attempts to get into something she shouldn't a mild correction immediately stops the bad behavior. Even though my puppy is only 16 weeks, she is able to go out in public, she is friendly, she is fun and she will only get better. and I can have fun with her without constantly on guard that she will destroy something. I can't say enough about the night and day difference in my pup. I will continue to work with Stephanie as I truly know she is a miracle worker and just about the sweetest dog trainer I've ever met.

Stephanie has been working with my husband, myself and our recently acquired German Shepard rescue. Not sure who needs the most training, but at any rate, Stephanie has been very helpful in curbing Cassie's fear and mouthiness to other dogs. We introduced her to Ruby a 9 month old very excited , playful pup, it took a little bit but they are now friends.. It was so fun to see them romping in the snow. I am pretty positive that would not have been possible without having taken her to Topline K9

I really can’t say enough about the quality of service and the quality of care provided by Stephanie. She is truly gifted at what she does and very positive and fun and easy to work with. We are amazed at the change in our dog after spending a couple weeks with her. She’s a very good teacher not just for dogs but for people as she has given us a great roadmap to continue the training on our own. We really quite simply could not be happier.

Stephanie and Rob at Topline K9 offer the best professional dog training in the area. My husky at almost 2 years was not understanding the training I had been implementing myself and I knew I needed professional help. Stephanie and Rob handed me a brand new dog after the 2 week board and train program. After not being able to have people over to the house, intense leash pulling, counter surfing, and constant anxiety, I now have a dog that is happy and well behaved whether it’s just me or guests are visiting. Topline K9 did what I thought was impossible! They were able to identify what was causing the behavior and knew how to get through to the dog with the proper training so she can enjoy life and be apart of the family. Couldn’t recommend the programs enough!
