I am so grateful to Annesha for all the work she has Put into my golden retriever, Maverick. He just returned from what I thought he needed as a refresher, and as a result, I found out that there were some things that I was not doing correctly for him. I appreciate the honesty and help in correcting these things So that I can be a better dog owner for him. I know that reinforcing the training provided will lead to a happy and fulfilled life for Maverick

Annesha at Total Dog Texas completely transformed my two boxers. I thought I was a good dog owner because I had taught my dogs how to sit, lay, shake, bark, etc., but I quickly learned all I had taught them were parlor tricks. My dogs would only “come” after I yelled at them for the millionth time and only if there were no distractions (aka squirrels, other dogs, or humans). “Come” was a command they followed only when it was convenient for them. I felt like I was constantly yelling at them or putting them in their kennels for being naughty. My dogs were draining me of my energy, patience and happiness very quickly. I didn’t have the time to personally train them, so a boot camp that would also board my dogs was what I started searching for. I live in Iowa and started looking for training boot camps that my dogs could go to close by. There were training camps close to me but many of them refused to administer my dog’s allergy shots. I was starting to feel very discouraged until I found Total Dog Texas. I contacted Annesha and she agreed to administer my dog’s shots and had experience doing so! I was ecstatic! My dogs went to Annesha’s training program for 3 weeks and were completely TRANSFORMED! My dogs heel, come when called the first time (even when there are squirrels running past them), when the door bell rings my dogs go to their “place” and stay until called off. I no longer apologize to friends who get jumped on when they come into my house, which is lovely! They don’t enter or exit a doorway until told to do so, and so much more! Now I love my dogs! They are a joy to have in my home and I now longer have to yell or get mad at them.
