100% Recommend! I sent my dog Bear to Jake for a 4 week board and train. I made the decision to send Bear to training because he was a rescue and has always had severe separation anxiety to the point of destruction to my house and vehicle if left alone. Due to an intense fear of crates I had no way of leaving him alone. After explaining everything to Jake. He talked us through what his plan was and we felt assured that Bear was in good hands. Throughout the weeks Jake sent regular video updates / progress messages that reminded me he was in good hands and made me feel at ease. When Bear returned home, it was immediately clear that he had a positive bond with Jake which made me feel good. Jake spent a significant amount of time at our home coaching us and showing us Bears new skills and helping us gain confidence in working with him. It's been a few weeks since Bear has been home and I can say that Bear is a different dog in the best way possible. Not only does he go in the crate regularly now, but he is just overall a lot more confident, obedient, and calm. On top of his shift in confidence and him being able to be left alone- I never expected Bears other skills like place, leash manners, and overall impulse control to be so wonderful upon his return and I couldn't be happier about that. Overall very happy with our experience with Jake Fraser. Jake's professionalism, competence in training, and connection with dogs is commendable and it's clear he loves what he does. Thank you!!

I can't say enough good things about Jake Fraser at Town and Country K9 training. We have an 80 lb lab, 2 year old "puppy", intense, extremely active and easily bored. He is a true test of the benefit of this training - really, a transformation for both him and us. We used the 4-week training/boarding combination at the advice of our long-time dog walker, and from the moment we met Jake, we knew we had made the right decision. He obviously loves all the dogs he trains, he sent us a video every day so that we would learn how to continue the training, and was patient and quick to respond to our questions. After the initial training, we boarded our lab with Jake for a weekend vacation and tune-up to his and our training. It was so helpful; with a large, active and strong-willed dog, we are now able to enjoy his underlying affectionate personality and astounding agility skills.

I can’t say enough good things about working with Jake as a trainer. Handing my pup off for 4 weeks was not something I personally thought I was comfortable with, but after spending 3 months with other methods of training I knew she needed extra attention. She could not settle herself unless in the crate and while all friendly and play, her biting was out of control and we could not make it through a 15 minute walk without her hyper fixating on biting my feet. While at boarding, Jake sent along photos, videos and updates daily - there is no denying that these dogs are so well taken care of and loved. They spend adequate time just giving affection to earn the dogs trust before getting into the nitty gritty (but still fun!) working. I cannot praise Jake as a trainer more than I already have, he is so knowledgable on each aspect of training and continues to research new methods as well. Thank you for bringing Kaia back with this new found confidence, while ensuring she did not lose her spunk and quirkiness!

We sent my 15 month old lab Koda to Jake after being frustrated that he just wouldn’t take to basic commands. Half the the time I called him to come I really think he was flipping me off as he would stop look and say nah. Just 4 weeks with Jake and he is the same goof that left but he listens. Really amazing that this is the same dog. I couldn’t be happier as it was money well spent. Koda not only will stay by my side on walks, comes when ever he is called, actually will stay in place when told its amazing. Wish I did this sooner.
