FirstBarkBreanna is super knowledgeable and patient with our pomsky. She gave me solid commands to teach this wild girl and how she is supposed it act. Ali really likes her and does what she said without any hesitation. I struggled a little with the discipline part but Breanna gave me the confidence to stand my ground against puppy dog eyes. I adopted my 5th Border Collie as a puppy, wanting to continue to compete in dog sport, but discovered he was dog reactive (not in aggressive way, but in a rude, puppy way). Working with Will Coggins from Traction, I saw progress and am now to a point where doggie daycare will allow him to attend sessions for rough housing and further socialization. Update 3/30/24 Joss has progressed to the point he is ready for dog sport competition. I expect he will compete in flyball this year and be one of my club's faster dogs.

I highly recommend reaching out to Traction for any of your training needs. Getting set up with them was seamless and I loved that their training is so customizable. Christie, our trainer, is amazing. We worked on greetings at the door (to reduce barking), leash walking and general confidence building. At the end of the 3 week homeschool program, I can confidently say we've noticed a drastic difference. Not only has our dog significantly improved in demonstrating these skills, we've also learned how to communicate with him. I truly feel like my bond with my dog has increased tenfold and I feel so confident taking care of him now. I loved that Christie kept things exciting for him and us - we did lots of sessions at home, but also did training sessions out at Zilker, the Domain, with other dogs, and even taught him some party tricks. Christie is so knowledgeable and understood our dog so well! It's been an incredible experience for us.
Christie was absolutely amazing to work with. We needed assistance with managing our two males dogs that were not getting along and she was able to catered every training session to our needs. Our dogs Jax and Bentley loved her too! She showed us how to create a better bond and trust between us and our dogs.
