We booked the homeschool program for our two dogs, 8yr old Benji and our puppy Bruin. Our trainer Mia was amazing, very knowledgeable and listened to all of our concerns! Our biggest issues with both dogs were leash pulling, constant barking at other dogs and just basic obedience. In just 3 weeks, Mia completely transformed our lives. She gave us some great tips and we are now able to go on relaxing walks without any issues! She still even reaches out to us to check in on the pups. Truly a great trainer and we’re glad we chose Traction dog training club.

Had the greatest experience with Traction Dog Training and Mia our instructor! In only 3 weeks, she was able to completely train my 84 lb 2 year old German Shepherd !
My dog was so reactive with any dogs that came near us or squirrels she would yank the leash so hard I would almost fall over. And always pulled so hard on walks too.
Mia stopped that immediately and got her trained to heel, walk next to me without pulling, sitting and laying down with very gentle training techniques. I was so impressed! I live in downtown Austin and we’re surrounded by other dogs and constant noise and traffic.
Now I really enjoy walking my dog and I highly recommend them to anyone needing their dog trained!

We didn’t feel we could take them anywhere with us except the dog park without being stressed by their behavior. I’d read so many training techniques, but had no idea which to choose or how best to implement. Then Traction Training sent us Mia. She was absolutely wonderful! So patient, and thorough in training our pups and us! Just saying her name our boys would get excited and start watching for her to show up on training day. Should we ever need additional training we will definitely go back to Traction (and Mia!).

It was super easy to get started with K9 Traction with an initial interview and dog evaluation to find the right program for our needs.
Our trainer was Mia, who was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient. She took the time to create a custom training plan, help us as owners understand the process, why she was doing the things she was doing and was great at teaching us how to incorporate the training techniques and tools in the right ways so we felt confident to continue his learning journey.
We are very pleased with the progress she and our dog made in just 3 weeks. On the final session, we were able to walk on the ladybird lake trail, had zero aggressive/reactive incidents, he recalled perfectly and barely even NOTICED other dogs walking by.
Highly recommend K9 for any training needs!!! Totally worth every penny.
