Training Carolina Dogs

Working with Nicole has changed the balance and tenor of our home for the better. We have three dogs who had pack-like behaviors that we just couldn’t break on our own. Nicole taught us how to communicate with our dogs and help them actually understand what we were asking them to do. Since working with Nicole, our home is significantly more calm and peaceful. I would wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone who feels out of their depth with their dog or is just trying to establish good training habits with a new dog or puppy. She is a game changer!

Nicole has a calm and confident presence that shines and rubs off when she's around your dog. We added a second dog to our home this year and his training with Nicole was a game changer. We now know what to do when our puppy gets whiney or out of control. We are so thankful that Nicole taught us about a dog's mindset. Everyone is happier after having such a successful Stay and Train experience with Nicole. The training she provided with awesome daily video recaps and communication on progress was worth every penny and more! You will not regret having a happier and more well behaved dog!

Nicole has been a lifesaver for our family! As much as I loved our little dog, I was sneaking around my house as to not wake her or disturb her. She barked at every sound and sight through the window, and taking her anywhere was anxiety-inducing due to the incessant barking and leash-pulling. NOW, after boarding and training, we have an incredibly well-behaved pup! She’s able to relax easily, and we can take her with us on many of our trips and errands with the confidence that she’ll follow instructions. We have our home back AND the best version of our loveable furball. Working with Nicole was easily the best decision for our pet-loving fam. We are grateful for her!

We hired Nicole of Training Carolina Dogs to provide 1:1 sessions over a year ago to train our dog Zebi. Training took place at her home, at our home, at Lowes and in our neighborhood. She did an incredible job not only training our dog but also teaching us how to be better dog owners. The results have lasted, and we still see the benefits of her guidance and instruction every day. We are now in the process of getting him certified as a therapy dog and this wouldn’t have been possible without her excellent training. Nicole goes above and beyond. Since our training, she has been our go-to whenever we need boarding. She is always ready and willing to help, even on short notice, and we know our dog is in the best possible hands with her. Her boarding accommodations are exemplary!! Our dog’s safety and well-being are her highest priority. Zebi is not just cared for—he’s loved, safe, and happy while we’re away. She reinforces some of the lessons he’s learned and he is well walked on every stay. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows dogs and treats every animal like her own, we can’t recommend Nicole enough. She is simply the best!

We have been dog owners for 25 years-we have used a few different trainers over this time and we did not get the results we were hoping for. Nicole is in a class of her own, she is amazing! We have a 4 yr old goldendoodle, Millie, who needed help with walking, pulling on her leash, always needing to be the "line leader" on walks but also had anxiety, had some reactivity issues when she saw other dogs on walks-she needed confidence in herself. We put her in a 2 1/2 week board and train with Nicole and I cannot say enough about the experience. We were shocked at her progress at our first visitation (we loved seeing the daily video's on Instagram-we could see how happy she was while she was training and being loved on by Nicole's family, that was so nice and reassuring that she was in loving hands-we were worried she might not want to come back home lol) and the fact she does not pull on walks and we can do off leash for her is such a game changer-not only does she love her walks but we genuinely look forward to walking her each day now! Nicole is so knowledgeable in so many areas and helped us so much b/c we needed to be trained on how to approach our new life of walking and putting the commands she learned into place on a daily basis. We really cannot thank you enough Nicole, this was life changing for us and we will be using you for our other dog in the near future--you really have a gift with training (and loving these dogs!!).
