Training Tracks Canine Learning Center

The greater Cincinnati area has a lot of decent dog trainers, but Training Tracks is in its own league of excellence. Seriously. My Doberman was attacked twice by off-leash dogs at four months old and it sent her spiraling into fear at the sound of barking from blocks away. My fiancé & I tried to help her on our own, but it got so bad that she would become terrified, even in our yard. We were so incredibly anxious to trust another board & train after the hell a highly rated one put our middle dog through, but she desperately needed help. I am SO glad we took the leap of faith and decided to trust Jeff, Lindsay, and the rest of the crew at Training Tracks! It’s not an easy process taking a traumatized European Doberman and helping them become confident & brave; but their B&T, amazing daycare setup, and training lessons are the reason why we have an emotionally healthy goodest girl now. We also have a highly reactive & dog-spicy middle dog that we had to keep separated from our Dobe for the past 11 months. We just got done with a separate 4wk B&T at Training Tracks in a last-ditch attempt to integrate the two of them— and when I say that they worked magic, I mean it. Our dogs couldn’t even be in the same room before, despite me *trying*. Watching Jeff & Lindsay help our dogs become comfortable with existing in the same yard together, then the same room, then napping on the same couch— now they’re playing in our backyard like best friends while our old dog tries to keep up, and my fiancé & I can’t stop giggling & ugly crying. It’s been about a week; Jeff & Lindsay have been actively involved in helping us with every step so that we were never left to feel anxious or overwhelmed by ourselves, even though we live an hour away. They have helped us do what we had given up on and have absolutely changed the quality of life for every dog & human in our home, tenfold. A few bits to add: They are the only people I trust to board my Doberman or Spicy APBT when we travel; I’m almost jealous of how content my dogs are at their facilities. Their daycare is the only one I know of that teaches dogs emotional regulation skills instead of it being a dysregulated free for all. I trust that my Dobe is *safe* there. Lindsay helped me to overcome a lot of my anxiety with working my dogs in public after developing reactive-dog-handler-trauma over the years. They are so warm-hearted, skilled, and confidence inspiring! I’m preeeetty sure Jeff knows everything dog behavior related. He’s the kind of pro other trainers go to for help, but he’s in it to truly help dogs and their humans. My fiancé & I couldn’t have made it through this if it weren’t for his & Lindsay’s genuine dedication to helping us & our dogs. We will forever be grateful to the whole Training Tracks team!!

Our dog Roger started off here doing private training classes with Lindsay and we loved them! Lindsay was great to work with and taught us so much! Roger looked forward to seeing her everyday. Once we finished training we started daycare once a week and it’s now Roger’s favorite day of the week. The staff are so helpful and accommodating and I trust them fully with my fur child! I also love that they celebrate the holidays with all the dogs! Roger was a cow last year for Halloween and we received a Christmas ornament with his face on it!!
