Training Your Best Friend LLC

My dog Blue has always been very anxious outside, especially in crowded areas. It is difficult to train for confidence because he is often too scared to accept a treat. We enrolled in Fearful Fido, and Christie helped Blue and the other dogs in the class move at their own pace. Blue has grown so much - we still have a lot of progress to make but we are both much more confident. We’ve learned some new commands, how to redirect focus from anxiety-inducing distractions, and I’ve learned to better monitor his body language to stay under Blue’s fear threshold. Blue also loves Christie - I would definitely enroll in her classes again!

I had a beautiful Serbian Husky and Christie Fernandez, a positive reinforcement dog trainer, trained Bear from Puppy class to every class she had. Bear graduated and became a certified Pet Therapy Dog license by Love on a Leash. Bear had a wonderful demeanor for a Husky. Christie Fernandez saw Bear's potential and trained him to be the best Certified Pet Dog. Where ever we went Bear was recognized. Bear loved everyone including children and older senior citizens. It will be 3 years on May 31 when Bear crossed the Rainbow bridge. Christie Fernandez is a true trainer because she is the one who help with getting him medical help. Christie Fernandez isn't just a trainer, she is your friend who knows more about your dog than you do. Christie Fernandez is very passionate and caring reinforcement trainer. Christie Fernandez trains you so you could help train your dog. If I have another dog, I would have her to train him. However, because of my age and health I didn't get another dog.

Christie was an answer to prayers! She accomplished more in an hour than we had experienced with a well known Trainer’s 3 week Board and Train! Christie uses positive reinforcement training and she had immediate results with her demeanor and abilities. Our dog is a 10 month old Golden Retriever and we got her from a breeder. Unknown to us, the breeder had done no socialization with her. She was scared of everything to the point it was impacting her daily life. Christie gave us the tools to use to get her on the path to a happy and successful life.
