Tranquil Dog

We had the pleasure of working with Sara when we were experiencing aggression between our two female dogs (1 year old and 5 years old). After a bad fight, I reached out to Sara because we were scared and unsure of what to do. We received a lot of outside opinions, and some even suggested we should put our youngest down for attacking our other dog. We didn’t know much about female-to-female aggression in dogs, so the situation felt extremely overwhelming and frightening. We wanted to try every possible resource before even considering something so heartbreaking. We visited our vet, who gave us helpful information for our youngest dog’s anxiety, and then we began working with Sara a few days later. That decision truly raised our spirits. We went from feeling completely hopeless to finally having hope that our two girls could safely live together and move forward. With Sara’s guidance, routine structure, and valuable insight, we’ve already started to see improvement. By setting them up for success and giving them the support they need, we now feel much more confident and encouraged. We are beyond thankful for Sara’s hard work, compassion, and dedication to both animals and their owners.

Normally I don't trust five star reviews, but the quality of the positive reviews for this place got my attention, and I decided to try the basic obedience classes for my recent rescue, Boris. The value Sara provides is far more than the cost of the training sessions. Just the first session gave me an entirely new perspective of how my pup thinks and how I communicate with him. So thankful to have Sara here in Lenoir.

I thought I would never be able to get my 5 year old female rescued dog Roxie comfortable and relaxed with being around people and other dogs. We spent about 1 -1/2 hours with Sara owner of Tranquil Dog and she taught us exactly what Roxie needed to become a happier relaxed dog. If you have a dog/dogs that you have tried all types of training with and have had no success, don't give up on them. I highly recommend you take them to Tranquil Dog in Lenoir NC.
