Trick 4 Treat Training L.L.C.

What an amazing experience, I first started out hiring Treat 4 Treats for private lessons, about a month in Emily was talking about taking on a board and train client, I jumped at the chance to enroll Artemis in a 30-day board and train program. I work from home so it can be difficult to address impulse control issue when they arise, when I’m on a conference call or in meetings made it impossible to correct any issues so training became inconsistent at best, leading to frustration with Artemis and myself. After spending time with Derrick and Emily I knew that Artemis would be loved and cared for as if she was one of their own, knowing that eased my mind. We set the day that Artemis would be pick up a Thursday, sad day ☹ (for me). The whole time she was in their care they would send updates along with photos and/or videos with her progress, 4 weeks quickly passed, and it was time for her to come home oh joyful day☺️!!!! From the moment she got home you could tell she had more confidence, maturity, and focus. My only job now was not to screw up all the demanding work they had put in and let her slip back into old habits. The next few days we enjoyed getting reacquainted, going for walks (SOOO nice she does not pull any more, did not realize how enjoyable a walk can really be) playing and convincing her I was not going to leave her. 4 days after drop off, Derrick and Emily came for the first of 3 follow up visits, I had a lot of questions which they patiently answered and demonstrated each one. They also reviewed with me their training cues, and tricks that they used when Artemis was with them. They left me with information and homework until 2nd scheduled visit. 2nd follow up I wanted to do a trail/hiking location I choose Williams in Davison great trails little foot traffic. We worked on all the things I wanted with remarkable success. June 19th, Artemis, and I moved to new home, June 20th I reached out to Emily and Derrick because Artemis has lost her mind (ha-ha), the stress of the move had brought out some bad impulse issues that I did not know how to address. We scheduled an in-home visit for June 22. Boy, what a dramatic difference that has made for both of us, for Derrick and Emily to see how she was behaving and teaching me how I should address these behaviors. This was my AHA moment for sure!! That day was the turning point, such a drastic change, it is so much more enjoyable taking her for walks and with our training sessions we are making progress daily. Artemis and I are becoming what I had hoped for when I hired Trick 4 Treats. Emily and Derrick are just amazing!!
