Troubled to Trained

We cannot say enough amazing things about Shane at Troubled to Trained and the work he did with our dog, Riley. Riley is extremely dog reactive. Walks were stressful, unpredictable, and honestly exhausting. Our first session with Shane proved he has what it takes to help us help Riley become more socialized with other dogs. More importantly, he helped us better understand Riley’s needs. That’s when we decided to enroll Riley in a one-week train-and-stay program. It was the best decision we could have made. He worked with Riley every day, helping to socialize him and integrate him into new environments while teaching him how to respond appropriately. Every single day, he let us know exactly how training was progressing, what Riley was working on, and how he was improving. Those updates gave us so much reassurance and confidence that Riley was in great hands and on the right track. It was clear Shane was fully invested in Riley’s success, and that level of commitment meant the world to us. Shane is patient, professional, and truly gifted at what he does. He explained everything clearly, tailored the training to Riley’s needs, and gave us the support we needed to further his progress once he returned home with us.
