Troubled to Trained

Shane is super informative! He helped us understand our dogs more efficiently. He took the time out of his morning to evaluate the aggression in our dog. We have multiple dogs. He gave us visual directions on how to correct their behaviors to prevent any inconvenience and to further our safety and our animals’ wellbeing in a family home. Our dog is not aggressive. We just didn’t know how to behave towards him. Thank you Shane! We recommend this guy!

Called Shane at 8 am to discuss that I was being brought a neglected and potentially abused rescue dog to me. He had shown some aggression to the rescuer and there was no knowledge if he was dog aggressive. I have a smaller dog in the home that I was concerned would be harmed if he was dog aggressive. With little notice, Shane came to my home and was here to manage the meeting of the dogs. It went very smoothly and I was very impressed with his knowledge and the way he handled the dog. He spent a considerable amount of time with us and the rescue dog educating us on the do’s and dont’s of dog training . The knowledge was so valuable and will certainly help us going forward. I was so impressed with Shane that I have decided that once this puppy is medically stable and Shane has a time slot available, he will be enrolled in Shane’s program at his facility for a full week of intensive training. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Shane!

I’ve had dogs all my life and always trained them myself. But I’ve lived long enough to realize there’s lots I don’t know, so when we adopted a two year old rescue, I turned to Shane Hawkins. Every night I received a detailed briefing and several videos showing the day’s training and progress. Who does that?! Shane Hawkins goes above and beyond! My wife has serious health problems and it was critical that our incoming new family member came to us well behaved and responsive. Shane did an outstanding job and I’d give him ten stars instead of the usual five!. Nora is all that and more!
