I truly can’t say enough good things about this business and the people behind it. Our dogs were trained by them over a year ago, and tonight reminded me that the care they have for the dogs and families they work with goes so far beyond just training. We reached out to them during a really difficult and emotional situation involving our dogs. Without hesitation, they spent nearly 40 minutes on the phone with us. They listened, talked through different options with us, gave us advice, and genuinely tried to help us figure out the best possible path forward. What meant the most to me was hearing them reminisce about our dogs. It has been over a year since they trained them, yet they remembered their personalities, their little quirks, and memories they had with each of them. You could hear how much they genuinely cared about our dogs, and honestly, about us too. They weren’t able to give us the answer we had hoped for, but somehow I still got off the phone feeling incredibly grateful that we called them. They were compassionate, honest, and supportive, and they made sure we knew we still had options. When you trust someone with your dogs, especially dogs who are truly part of your family, you hope you’re putting them in the hands of people who genuinely care. Tonight showed me that we absolutely did. More than a year later, they still cared enough to give us their time and help us through an incredibly hard moment when they didn’t have to. I will never forget that conversation or the kindness they showed us. Our dogs couldn’t have had better people involved in their training, and I will always be grateful for the impact they had on our dogs and our family.

Truly Clear Dog Training has truly changed both mine and Kai’s lives. I adopted Kai a little over a year ago, and while he was the sweetest boy, he came with uncontrollable energy, zero boundaries, and very excitable reactivity around other dogs — and often people too. The chaos in the beginning, both inside and outside of the house, was honestly more than I could handle at times. I’ve worked with trainers before with a past dog, but what worked for her did not work for Kai. Tom did an incredible job not only training Kai, but teaching me how to be “truly clear” in what I’m asking of him and how to consistently hold him accountable to that obedience. That clarity and communication has only strengthened our bond and relationship. I’m so happy to report that Kai is a completely different dog on our walks and in everyday life. He now understands boundaries, and the bond we’ve built through obedience work has been incredible to see. This training has genuinely been life changing and has enhanced both of our lives in ways I hoped for, but honestly wasn’t sure were possible. On top of that, Kai has also boarded with Tom and Cassie. Leaving your pet for the first long vacation is always nerve wracking, but I felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. Cassie kept me updated throughout his stay, sent pictures of him living his absolute best life, and it was obvious he received so much love, attention, and activity while he was there. I cannot recommend Truly Clear Dog Training enough.
