Patty has been working with our Lexi and us for several months to help change Lexi’s behavior. We have had several trainers in the past to help us with Lexi’s behavioral issues. Some of her issues were difficult to deal with. We often thought that getting Lexi was a very big mistake. While having Patty work with us the past several months, we have seen a change and improvement with Lexi’s behaviors. We knew our journey having Patty (TrustingHandsForAnimals) help us would not be an overnight process but would be an ongoing journey. Patty gave us tools and exercises each time we met with her. Patty documented each of our sessions (lengthy and detailed) with a recap of each session as well as repetitive homework for us to do each day prior to the next session. While the training program and work was necessary for us just as much as it was for Lexi, we now know how important it is. Patty was incredibly patience with us. Throughout each session the pas several months, it was obvious that Patty carefully observed Lexi’s behaviors as well as our reactions to Lexi’s behaviors. We are beyond pleased and grateful that we have found Patty to help us on our journey with a difficult and demanding pup and to work towards a well behaved pup. Patty was my last hope for my newly adopted dog, Xander. Xander suffered from severe separation anxiety, noise phobias and constant barking. My vet prescribed medications, but they weren’t solving the problem. Patty provided me with custom training exercises for Xander’s needs and they worked. It’s wasn’t instant, but I did see results daily! I was confident with Patty’s help and added another rescue, Ripley. The “boys” love their visits from Patty and I look forward to seeing her interact with my dogs. I have 25 yrs of experience adopting shy, scared dogs. I only wish I would have met Patty years ago!

Patty was an absolute life saver during the last few months of my 15 year old Plott Hound’s life. My dog was my soul mate and love of my life, so I wanted the absolute best for her. Kiki developed an aggressive bone cancer which impacted her mobility, ability to go to the bathroom and just overall energy levels. Kiki hadn’t gone to the bathroom in 4-5 days and none of the medications worked to relieve her of her discomfort. I asked Patty to come and 30 mins after a reiki session, Kiki was able to go to the bathroom just fine! It felt like a miracle. As Kiki’s eating habits and mobility fluctuated day by day, it always seemed to improve on the days that Patty would pay us a visit. And when she hadn’t gone to the bathroom for a few days, Patty would make it over to us and Kiki was then able to relieve herself. I cannot say enough positive things about working with Patty. We are forever grateful to have her compassion and healing touch for Kiki’s last few months 🕊️🐾
