We found Rebecca when we brought in a stray German Shepherd to our home of three dogs. Having multiple dogs already, 2 of them being German shepherds, we knew it would take time for our new German Shepherd, Max, to adapt. For the safety of Max and our other dogs, we utilized Rebecca to help train us and Max. She walked into our home already, knowing and proving how to handle herself with the dogs. She incorporated her teaching, not only to my husband and myself, but to our nine-year-old daughter as well. She helped us become more knowledgeable, using tips and tricks and motivation for training. She really got to know Max individually, but also worked with our other dogs as well. She found each dog’s unique motivator, and used that to help train. Our main concern was mostly recall. While our dogs are playing out back in our unfenced property, we established boundaries and worked on the dog returning when given the command “come”. We worked through most distractions by creating real life scenarios and situations our dogs had previously been exposed to. She used each dog’s unique motivator that she had learned to praise and celebrate their success! We also worked on dog behavior when entering our home and around other people we bring into our home. For safety, an 80 pound pup can’t be jumping on my elderly parents when excited to see them! My family and I HIGHLY recommend Rebecca for anything & everything that has to do with your dogs! Not only is her knowledge of her passion superb, but her energy and personality makes the dogs immediately comfortable. We enjoyed her company too! It was a blessing getting to know her and we are very grateful!
