We had an outstanding experience with Bobby Dwyer and his team at Two Brothers Sporting Dogs. From the very beginning, their level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail was evident. They took the time to truly understand our dog, Palmer, and tailored the training approach to meet his specific needs. The transformation in Palmer’s obedience has been incredible. Not only is he more responsive and well-mannered, but it’s clear he’s also more confident and engaged. The team kept us informed throughout the process and made sure we felt comfortable continuing the training at home, which made a huge difference. I was honestly pretty nervous about leaving my dog away for such an extended training period, but Two Brothers Dog Training made the entire process easy and reassuring from day one. They were great about setting up weekly meetings and training sessions so I could stay involved and follow along with her progress, which made a huge difference. The training itself was incredibly well-rounded. They worked her upland with quail and dove, water training with ducks, and consistently reinforced obedience throughout. Week by week, I could clearly see her improvement — her listening sharpened, her leash work became solid, and her retrieving grew more confident and steady. By the final pickup day, I was excited (and a little impatient) to see how it would all translate in the field. A few weeks later, I took her on a long dove hunt and she absolutely crushed it — tracking birds perfectly through thick brush and handling blind retrieves like it was second nature. She’s also done great duck hunting, even with her first hunt being in below-30-degree weather. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The progress, confidence, and reliability she gained are exactly what I was hoping for. I’d do it all again without hesitation and highly recommend Two Brothers to anyone serious about their dog’s training.
