Two Dads Dog Training

Two dads dog training is fantastic! They have a thorough and easy to follow training for both you and your dog. Even if your dog doesn’t “get it” right away. They have convenient class times with early enough wrap up for working dog parents. I took the Intro to scent work class and continue to work with my dog with the skills they taught. I would absolutely take another class and highly recommend Two Dads one Dog

Michael's training techniques are life-changing for my dog, Toby, and me. He showed me how to change Toby from a hyper-vigilant dog to a well-behaved smart dog who likes to please. I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I know for sure now that it is possible. Michael is smart, easy to understand, patient with me and my dog, and lots of FUN to work with on dog training! My nephew recommended Michael to me because he had the same experience. Thanks Two Dads!!!

We were able to work with both of the Dads in individual and group sessions. Can’t speak more highly of the work that Michael and Luis did with us. Our dog Ripley is able to walk around off leash up in the woods of Maine without taking off. She just hangs with us and recalls (whistle) if we can’t see her. They are great, super positive, and always left us with stuff to work on and get better at with her. We are so thankful to have worked with them and will probably do some of their dog activities, scavenger hunts, etc.

We recently brought home our puppy and by nine weeks old we reached out to Two Dad Dogs Training. After having a quick intro call with Michael, to discuss our challenges and goals, we saw significant improvements in our puppy’s behavior and training within 24 hours. We then signed up for the Puppy Manners one-on-one classes, where Michael was an incredible resource in our home. He tailored the training program to meet our dog’s specific needs, focusing on both his strengths and areas for improvement. Michael is a true professional who knows exactly how to build the confidence of both puppies and their owners. We cannot recommend him and his program highly enough. We’re so thankful to have connected with him this summer and look forward to joining his next program in the near future.

New review - My puppy Josie loved the introduction to nosework class with Luis! She has taken a couple of other intro classes but really got the hang of it during Luis’s class. I love that we met in different locations around the park and she got to learn to search outside. Mungo (my older dog) also took a couple of drop in search classes with Marcy and they were fantastic. He practiced searching in new environments which can be hard for him. I’m so glad that Luis and Michael are offering nosework classes! Mungo and I love the fluency classes with Luis. Luis has lots of easy and fun games for building upon the basics. I recommend the fluency class to anyone who has completed a basic training class and want to reinforce good behavior. Luis tailors the class to the participants needs. We’ve been working on a sit/stay, attention around distractions and loose leash walking.
