Founded in 2016 under the name Two Dads and a Dog, our company offered walks and pet sitting. Since our services evolved to only offer dog training advice and behavior consultations, we proudly serve our communities as Two Dads Dog Training. We not only promote proactive and healthy human-dog relationships but facilitate skills for helping teams understand each other for a harmonious life in a household. what does it cost for home training and do you do this,
Hi Joseph. After discussing the particular details about your dog's needs, an initial 90-min private session can be had at your home for around $240. Additional sessions, as needed, can go from $100-$150 an hour. We can work on a package depending on the case.

We are having a terrific experience with Michael as he trains us and our young mixed-breed, Moxie, how to not lunge and bark at passing vehicles, bikes, runners, etc. We (my husband and I) have had a consultation and 3 lessons with Michael and Moxie. His instructions are clear, positive, and even fun for all of us. We are seeing great progress. But I will emphasize that it’s not just up to Michael and Moxie to make the behavior changes we want to see. We are putting in time and effort practicing with Moxie between sessions with Michael. If you have the time and willingness to do this, I think you’ll get great results from 2 Dads and a Dog!
Extremely professional and easy to work with. Luis made myself and my dogs feel very comfortable. He was amazing and gave me so much valuable information. The teachings were easy to learn and to understand since knowing the ‘why’ behind them helps to give insights on my dogs thoughts and possible reactions. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone seeking dog training.

Just finished up the five week Dog Reactivity Foundation class, and I'm left with a tremendous amount of hope that our dog Rory's leash reactivity can be brought under control. She showed so much improvement in class in just a few short weeks, and I feel I have much more confidence in my ability to manage situations outside of our class walls. It's obvious that Michael and Luis are very experienced and have a true love and compassion for dogs. I truly didn't want the training sessions to end! I look forward to signing up for the Dog Reactivity Advanced session next!!
Luis was an incredible help making sure we had the tools to train our 1 year old yellow lab/golden retriever to not pull on leash and prepare for our upcoming first born child by walking with the stroller. Luis completely customized his training to incorporate the stroller and gave us the tools we needed to ensure she thrives when baby girl gets here. Highly recommend Two Dads!!
