Two Paws Up Dog Training

Have trained 2 dogs at Two Paws Up and love the positive training approach. It is so intuitive and really works with my dogs. I have also used the day Dog Academy for more intensive training on interactive behaviors such as greetings with dogs and people. I have been successful with extending my dog's learnings to my handling. The trainers are top notch and classes are small. Highly recommend you take advantage of the classes to train both YOU and your dog!

We just completed a series of in-home training classes with Stephanie Challand from TwoPaws. Lola is an Australian Cattle Dog who is always suspicious of strangers. It takes her several meetings to warm up to new people. Yet after the first 10 minutes of our first class, Lola really enjoyed working with Stephanie. Right before each class, Lola was looking out the window eagerly waiting for Stephanie to arrive. Lola and I learned many useful techniques that are helping Lola with her difficult transition from cattle farm to suburban living. The entire experience was enjoyable and rewarding. I'm looking forward to doing more classes in the future.

Stephanie was incredible with my fear reactive girl, Leela. From the very start she was super accommodating and helpful, always making sure to do what was best for Leela. From changing up our program to make sure it was a perfect fit for Leela, to being very understanding of our personal troubles and making sure to meet us where we are at. Leela made amazing progress with Stephanie. I was honestly surprised with how much progress she made. She went from not being able to be close to another human without having a full blown meltdown, to being able to take treats from Stephanie's hand. While I know she still has a way to go (reactivity is a tricky beast) I'm positive with the tips and tools from Stephanie that Leela will lead a very fulfilling life. Thank you two paws up!
