Ty the Dog Guy is a Utah based dog training company that offers it's famous Transform Your Dog in 60 Days program to dog owners across Salt Lake, Utah County, Ogden area, and beyond.
The dog training program helps dogs of any age including puppies to elder dogs to fix aggression problems, obedience problems, destruction, anxiety, and more.
Every dog that leaves the program is proficient in 4 areas:
- On leash control- No pulling, lunging, etc.
- Off leash control- Go hiking in the mountains, camping, be off leash at the park and still have control
- Great manners- Get rid of jumping, chewing, potty accidents, and more
- Aggression and Anxiety- Solve these issues and live a more full life

Reminder don’t expect perfection!!!
They’re not perfect and we have had to retrain how our own minds think and how we react in order to keep them even close to how they were when the returned them to us…
Joe has been awesome in the personal appointments and was very patient with us. Our dogs do much better than we had ever expected! Taking them on walks used to be more of a workout. They now stay calm and walk beside us. We can go in stores, they “down” and actually stay!

We had a great experience with our trainer, Amanda. She explained everything so well, and has kept the lines of communication open. We started in the puppy program, which I highly recommend. It’s a little intense at first, but believe me it pays off. Our pup is 7 months old now. She doesn’t jump on people or steal food. She knows all her commands and loves to show them off. She is a joy to walk and take to the park.

I can’t say enough about this company and our trainer Mia!! From start to finish they have been there for us. Mia has gone above & beyond for us and has taken so much extra time to make sure we are getting what we need for a successful well behaved dog. We have been so happy with everything, and we will continue the ongoing support & training with Ty the dog guy.

We’re so glad we found Ty the Dog Guy! We have always trained our dogs ourselves but Luke had been a struggle, much to do with the inability to socialize him because of COVID lockdown. We couldn’t quite figure out what we were doing wrong this time but realized we needed help. Our trainer Mia was fantastic! Luke is a different dog now. We noticed even after the 1st few days he was happier - likely because he wasn’t getting into trouble all the time. We’ve already taken advantage of the Saturday group classes - another add-on bonus to a fantastic program. We highly recommend this program to everyone.
