UberDog Training

I cannot say enough great things about UberDog Training! My two boys love Katrina, Phill, Greg and the rest of the team! They really learned a lot (as did we) through their QuickStart training! I cannot believe how much easier it is to work with them, go on walks, have better door manners and just have a less stressful family life. I love the ongoing training and support you get and would highly recommend them for any dog in any situation!

Forever grateful to Uberdog, especially Katrina and Phill for all their help with training our sweet boy Amos! We've always known he was an incredible dog but now everyone else can see how amazing he is when we have family/friends in our home or go out in public and meet new people/dogs- it's a complete transformation! What was even more priceless and unforgettable was being able to have Amos at our wedding this past June 2015. He was such a gentleman walking down the aisle with his dad as "Best pup", he held a beautiful "down/stay" as we exchanged vows, smiled pretty afterwards for family photos, and then went off with Katrina for a puppy slumber party with Carmella, Bullet, and Zoe! You could not find people more genuine than Katrina and Phill! You can just tell they truly care about these dogs and their families! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Hazel and I can not say enough amazing things about Katrina and the Uberdog experience! They did such an amazing job with her and with me, training us both on how to communicate and be consistent, and as a result, she has been transformed! For anyone looking for a higher level of training for their dog, I would recommend Uberdog whole heartedly and without reservation! We did the in-home lessons, and it was a lot of work but oh so worth it! So many thanks to them for making it possible to take Hazel wherever I go!

You should choose UberDog if: - you want to make everyone around you jealous for having an AWESOME dog! - you like attention (which you will get for sure). - you like taking your dog everywhere with you. - and most importantly, you want a well behaved and fun companion. When my wife and I got Mozzy, our now 7 month old goldendoodle, we definitely chose the leader of his puppy pack and that is why we wanted to make sure we had him started on the right path from the get go! Little background - We got Mozzy from a breeder at 2 months, put him in training at 4 months and now Mozzy is 7 months old. Like most first-time dog owners, we did not know how to correctly train our pup ourselves (HELP!). We had researched, visited and spoke to several different trainers in the Charlotte area (we have high expectations) prior to selecting UberDog. We fell in love with UberDog within the first 10 minutes of walking into Katrina’s home (where we met for our consultation and where our dog was mostly trained). Katrina & Phil (trainers) share an intense passion and love for dogs and it was clearly reflected when we met. We went with the 2-Week Quick Start program because it suited our very busy lifestyle - we were honestly so frustrated with our puppy’s behavior that we needed help. So Katrina & Phil live in this amazing home on several acres of land, they have several dogs of their own, and they only take 2 quick start dogs at a time — therefore you KNOW your dog is getting the most attention and best care possible. Mozzy stayed at Katrinas home with other dogs and was trained in her home! Isn’t that amazing? The best part is that our pup did NOT have to stay at a training facility for 2 weeks where he was alone for 8-10 hours! (Also note that UberDog has a training facility but for the Quick Start program the dogs live with Katrina and also are taken to the facility (since they go everywhere with the trainers). Mozzy learned to live and play inside and outside the home in a well-behaved manner. The training is very individualized - Katrina and Phil sit down with you and write down what your dogs troubles and focus on those points (trust me, we had a lot of issues with our energizer bunny goldendoodle)! Katrina and Phil not only trained Mozzy to be house broken but also taught him acceptable dog behavior (no play biting, no jumping, no barking, how to greet people, how to get your dog to listen to your commands, leash training, easy commands, how to play with your dog, crate behavior, potty training, amongst other things) in the house and in public places. We can take our dog everywhere now - to our friends & families homes, to dog approved shopping areas, to work, etc. While Mozzy was at the 2-week Quick Start we received regular message, photo, video updates on Mozzy. We received follow-up home visits (trust me, you will need this), and amazing support (they always reply to my phone calls and messages). The Quick Start includes lifetime access to the group classes UberDog has once a week offered at 4 different times during the day where you can ask questions and also continue to expand your dogs training. In conclusion, you WILL never regret choosing UberDog, it is by far the best investment we have made for our lifestyle, and worth every penny we spent! When we walk or go out with Mozzy, people stop us ALL the time and cannot believe that Mozzy is only 7 months (that’s how well-trained he is)!
