Ultimate Canine

Where do I begin with the wonderful things I could say about Ultimate Canine? We were at a loss with our year old German Shepherd puppy. The past training he had was out the window, it was as if his big ears were just accessories not for listening and he was in the defiant stage. We took a leap and decided after recommendations from several law enforcement K9 handlers to try Ultimate Canine.. and they did not disappoint! After a two week stay and train, we have a well mannered pup who listens thanks to Tyler and all the other trainers who helped out! We have been home a week and continue to work on the skills we have all learned. Now, there is no fear of going out in public because of his socialization skills, no fear of guests coming over because of knowing how to calm greet, sit, stay, and place, and no more chasing around lost socks because of drop it and leave it! Did I mention, my tiny 75lb dog who wouldn’t get into the car and required being carried like a baby, now is independent and does it on his own. I will forever be thankful to everyone at Ultimate Canine for helping me learn how to care for my dog, communicate with him the way he deserves, and have the GSD I always hoped to have! Take the hint, stop wasting time and book your train and stay. Their new facility is beautiful and every dog in their care is well cared for. You will not regret investing in your pup with Ultimate Canine!

Words cannot explain how amazing this company has been to me and my dog! My puppy was 9 weeks old when we started In-Home Training classes with Ultimate Canine. Carissa (the trainer) came to the house once a week to introduce basic training skills. After 4 weeks of In-Home Training, my puppy was able to follow commands like sit, down, stay, place, off, kennel, heel, and leash walking. A month later, I suffered a personal injury that required me to be unable to walk for 3 weeks. Ultimate Canine was more than willing to accommodate to my puppy's needs during this time. My puppy spent 3 weeks in their Stay & Train program while I recovered. All the staff I encountered was outgoing, caring, and reassured me she was in good hands. Julie (the owner) has a huge heart for animals and goes above and beyond to create a business that welcomes all. Carissa (the trainer) treated my puppy as if she was her own. She was very tentative, patient, answered all my questions, communicated frequently during the Stay & Train weeks, and even came into work on a holiday to do a training session with me. I will be using this company for any future boarding or training needs for my dog and highly recommend to everyone!

We live directly across for this location and they do not take care of the dogs or have anyone supervising them and ensuring they are quiet at night. They didn’t develop the building correctly to ensure for a sound barrier and they clearly don’t check in on the dogs and attempt to calm them. The same dog barked outside for over an hour. Very disappointed in the business and the city for not being more considerate of their residential location and the city for not enforcing proper sound barriers.

Thank you Joe from Ultimate Canine for taking care of miss Oakley for a week long stay and train. Before this Joe has previously came and did in house weekly training. I started to feel overwhelmed with all the commands. I decided instead to have her stay for a week. Best decision I could have made. Joe sent updates during the stay and answered all my 1000 questions. During the graduation I was able to learn all the new skills. Oakley currently knows stay, heel, come, down, leave it, crate, and so much more. I would recommend Joe to anyone. This photo is just a few days later on a walk working on stay command.
