FirstBarkI can't say enough about how wonderful Amy is as a trainer. She taught me so much about how to interact with my dogs to get the best behavior from them. She teaches in a manner that is easy to understand and follow. My dogs behavior is so much better with her suggestions and training after 3 lessons.

Amy is a gifted dog trainer. I was teetering on the cliff of my sanity and thanks to Amy and her skills I've been pulled off the ledge. Amy is knowledgeable, reliable, and patient as she teaches how to train your dog. My puppy, (a rambunctious 11 month old pit/lab mix) has learned several commands, and has gained a more confident owner thanks to Amy's detailed and methodic approach. You can tell that she was born to do this. Can't thank her enough.

Our Bernese Mountain Dog Fergus has loved his training with Amy. She is so positive and knowledgeable, and is amazing with our puppy. She has taught us basic puppy skills but more importantly, she has taught us how to understand our puppy's learning style, and how to read his signals so we can anticipate potential behaviors. Now we can react to those signals in a positive and proactive fashion. She listens to our questions and concerns and comes up with great suggestions as to how to handle potential challenges with a puppy. Our whole family (humans and puppy) have been extremely happy with our training sessions with Amy. We highly recommend Understanding Fido and Amy.
Amy is absolutely amazing. Very thorough, very knowledgeable, extremely patient with both dog and owners lol. She has been so helpful in assisting me with both of my pups, especially with working with my puppy who was a ball of anxiety in his early puppy stage. I feel very confident in her expertise and highly recommend Understanding Fido!
Amy was wonderful with our puppy! We learned so much about positive reinforcement and how to successfully interact during our training sessions. We look forward to working with her more in the future as our dog matures.
