I felt compelled to write this review after reading the ridiculous one star review left by someone that didn’t even meet Curtis much less have him train their dog. I feel confident that my husband and I have probably spent more time and money with Curtis and United Canine than most so my review is factual not a keyboard Rambo whining because Curtis had something come up once that prevented him from meeting at the arranged time. Curtis has trained several of our dogs and does so like no one else. My family and I gladly drive the THREE hours for our dogs to see the best and Curtis Hearn is by far the best. Since we live so far away, Curtis and my husband discussed Curtis boarding our dog during training. Choosing to leave my dog with someone three hours away was something I felt impossible. I can honestly say the first time we went to meet Curtis I was convinced I would be bringing my Max back home. This all changed the moment I met Curtis and saw his interaction with our dog. Curtis treated him with such love and a soft spoken way that simply must be experienced to believe. He answered every single question I had regarding my apprehension to protection training and believe me there were many. Curtis provides custom training specific to your dog’s nature as well as the needs of your family. We’ve since had three dogs trained by Curtis and sent numerous friends to him all with happy results. We wouldn’t ever consider leaving our dog’s training to anyone else. If you want real training by a true expert, Curtis is your man. Otherwise, go to Petsmart or the random person advertising on Facebook. You’ll waste your money and have a dog that might learn to sit and stay. Whereas, my dog will climb a 15ft wall to apprehend an intruder but still sleep with my six year old daughter every night. My husband couldn’t even convince me that such a dog was possible. Curtis didn’t have to convince me because he showed me with results. Results he produced not just with one dog but three for my family and for the countless other satisfied customers of United Canine.

I very disappointed about the way I was treated today 11/7/17 by this business. I spoke to someone name Curtis and was told to meet him at 12 p.m. e.t and I live almost an hour away. He waited until 15 min. Before my appt. To text me and say he couldn't make it until 4.p.m. and on top of that the area to meet him was a park. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone and if I could give it 0 i would.
