Unleashed Abilities: Coaching People, Training Dogs

We are SO grateful for Keri and her expertise and patience with our 4 month old Bernedoodle puppy. This is our family's very first dog so she has been equally helpful training us too with tips, tactics, what to expect and best practices. After 1 puppy training session we already saw impressive results with commands and getting him on a schedule that made housebreaking work quickly. Winston arrived in our home in late June of 2019, he was roughly 20 lbs of Bernedoodle. As he grew we knew we needed help. As he kept growing we were positive. Keri from Unleashed Abilities helped us with initial training. She taught us the basics and worked with us for a month or so. Winston kept growing. He is fairly smart and really responds well to training. However.... he is now over 105 lbs and we needed more help. We are both older and he's really strong. Keri next assigned Mark to help us. Mark worked with Winston for 8 two hour sessions including time with us (to train us). We can now walk by other dogs (admittedly one poodle in heat captured his total attention to my dismay) with just the simple heel and an occasional "leave it" command if he shows too much attention. Not only is Winston trained but we are trained and doing well. He's even more enjoyable if that's possible. Thank you Keri and Mark. 5 Stars!

Keri was able to quickly size up Weber, my six month old Black Mouth Cur rescue. She came up with workable solutions to his issues. Keri's training with the e-collar enabled Weber to quickly figure out that it was not in his best interest to pick up all of the junk that he encountered outside. In just a few sessions, this dangerous behavior was greatly diminished. Keri's instruction held in a variety of settings was important to Weber's success. She was very patient in training both my dog and me. I highly recommend Unleashed Abilities.

*UPDATE* Everything below is still 100% true, but I wanted to add that we recently finished working with Keri for the doggy day school program and e-collar training and WOW. If I wasn't already impressed enough, this was the gamechanger. Our dog Ozzy transformed. This program significantly improved his listening skills, my confidence in how to handle any situation, and definitely decreased his anxiety and general discomfort confronting new situations and people. I didn't know if we could have the type of dog we really wanted, but we do. So grateful! Keri is 100%, hands down, the real deal when it comes to training. She is lovely and warm and it’s so obvious how much she cares for the dog she’s working with. Within minutes she bonded with our boy and he took to her. It was within 3-4x of issuing a command that this little 4-month-old pup was listening. AMAZING! If you’re on the fence, hop off. She’s great.

We had an emergency situation trying to integrate our new rescue into our family. We needed immediate help to address Moo Moo biting the feet of teenagers that came to visit (it was a weirdly specific behavioral issue). Keri heard our cry for help and came for some emergency private sessions to help us and Moo Moo. Immediate success! Moo Moo the seven year old bulldog learned a new trick...how to love teenagers without biting their feet for attention! Thank you!!!
