Unleashed Abilities: Coaching People, Training Dogs

Working with Keri and Unleashed Abilities was our family's BEST decision! She is purposeful, passionate, and incredibly dedicated to her work for your fur baby. The moment our sessions begin with Keri, it is all eyes on myself, my partner, and little Lego to ensure we can live the most healthy and beautiful life with our puppy. She believes that training your puppy is never a "quick fix", but rather something that should become a part of your family's lifestyle - which is a value we appreciate most about Keri because your dog is for life! We aren't sure we (or Lego) would be nearly as happy if we didn't have Keri to guide us. I would recommend her to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has a dog! You won't regret it :)

For some background, Mamba was my first ever dog I got, who was a puppy. He was originally a rescue before being fostered before I adopted him. He had very fearful characteristics at first, "grring" and barking at new comers in the home, aggressively barking and lunging at people on walks. I had taken him to Petco for individual sessions only for my pup to get kicked out and get recommended to a "behaviorist" for his behavior. I was looking around and found Keri, and right after the consultation session I knew she was the right fit for Mamba. Mamba has gotten much better around dogs and and other people, and not only that, now I understand his behaviors and what to do in specific situations, She not only trains the dogs, but also emphasizes training the handler (me). After the 6 sessions (I am actually only 5 sessions in) -- I can confidently take Mamba around other people in crowded areas knowing in advance how he will react. Keri is not a trainer, she is a coach and I swear also a dog whisperer. She is very flexible when scheduling and even brought me homemade cookies when my dad passed away. I would 100% recommend Unleashed Abilities and Keri for anyone who genuinely wants to train their dog.

Keri and Unleashed Abilities was the perfect training solution for our 2 yr old adopted dog, Norm. Norm had been in a shelter since puppyhood and had a great foundation but needed help (and we needed training ourselves) with leash walking, and several basic commands. Keri was kind, firm, and approached Norm's training in a structured way that helped us understand how to work with him. She not only checked in in between sessions but also sent follow up notes on what we discussed and gave us training homework. Keri really understands dog psychology and also loves them. You can't go wrong with Unleashed Abilities!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We hired Stephanie from Unleashed Abilities for puppy training and field trips. She was OUTSTANDING! She was not only amazing with our puppy (Misty), but she was a wonderful person. From the first time our pup met her she LOVED Stephanie. And even after the first training session, Misty already knew some commands! Over the weeks we worked with Stephanie, she was patient, responsive and supportive. Whenever Stephanie left after training or a field trip, Misty never wanted her to leave! Stephanie also sent us summaries of all the things we talked about after each session so that we could remember and reference it. On the field trips, Misty had a blast, and Stephanie sent so many cute pictures and videos! We have already decided to add additional training sessions since we had so much success and learned lots of great tips and information. I would trust and recommend Stephanie and Unleashed Abilities 100%!
