Kenneth trained our 2 year old springer/lab for two weeks. Theo had lots of obedience training already, but struggled with impulsivity, duration with his commands, inability to settle down, and a very high prey drive. Kenneth was generous with his time with us, and appreciative with Theo. He trained in real-world settings-a home, off leash, around other dogs and chickens, on field trips-which replicated our life in the city and the country. He used an e-collar and a prong collar, in addition to positive reinforcement, and was open to questions and discussion about his methods. Theo is now significantly safer to walk on leash in areas where he previously ripped the leash out of our hands, or pulled us over. He is calmer around our cat, able to watch chipmunks out windows, and focus around dogs and squirrels and bunnies on our walks. He is relatively reliable off-leash, and quick to respond to an e-collar prompt. We continue generalizing his training at home, but feel relieved, secure, and grateful.

As a first-time dog owner, I was completely clueless about where to begin. Daily walks with my puppy, Olive, had turned into such a stressful ordeal that I honestly dreaded them. Entrusting her to the 4wk board and train at Unleashed K9 in Maple Grove was the best decision I could have made. The transformation in Olive is nothing short of incredible. Morgan taught her so many commands and words, and seeing Olive heel perfectly for the first time literally brought tears of joy to my eyes! I couldn’t be prouder of my cute little Olive! Morgan truly went above and beyond in every way. She was wonderful about sending constant updates, which gave me complete peace of mind while we were apart. She generously shared insights about her own dogs and even let Olive socialize with them, which reminded me so deeply of the unique value a dog brings as a person’s best friend. Morgan didn't just train Olive—she treated her like one of her own. Olive was visibly happy, cherished, and loved every single day. I cannot thank Morgan enough for giving me the confidence, tools, and joy back in raising my puppy. If you are looking for an exceptional trainer and place, this is up there!

Great train and board for 3 weeks for our dog Musta. He was a rescue so we didn’t know his history and needed to complete the limited training he must have had, including understanding place and standing down to strangers (dogs and people) when told. Wonderful change in his behavior- giving him the confidence he needed, enriched commands, and he learned so much more! As owner- we also learned so much and are confident we can continue. Highly recommend Kenneth and his training. Worth the price. I’d suggest MINIMUM 3 week train and board. More weeks would be very beneficial to really cement the training desired so we will definitely consider a refresher after we practice what has been learned so far.

We are beyond grateful for Emily at Unleashed K9! Sending Luna off for training was a little nerve-wracking as new pup parents, but Emily put us at ease from day one. She kept us updated on Luna’s progress the entire time, and it was so clear she genuinely cared about our girl, not just as a client, but as a dog she was truly invested in. When Luna came on day one, the difference was amazing. She’s more obedient, more responsive, and a more confident dog. But what really set Emily apart was the out-processing. She didn’t just hand Luna back and send us on our way, she took real time to teach us how to be better, more effective pup parents so all that hard work continues at home. That’s the mark of someone who cares about long-term success, not just quick results. Luna adored Emily, and so do we. Our whole family is so happy with this experience.
