I’m on session 2 and I can see such a difference in my dog. She’s building trust with me and her confidence is growing. Can’t wait to see her at session 5! Kelly Green is my trainer and this lady knows her stuff;) She has the “teach a man to fish” mentality. On a side note: they use e-collars to train which is fine. E-collars have a bad reputation and were seen in my mind to be used as punishment for a dog. This is a very wrong mentality. They outline at orientation e-collars are used as reminders. They are set so low that it’s as if someone comes up behind you and taps you on the shoulder. Such a great analogy! If your dog is whimpering when you use an e-collar, it’s too high. I was able to feel it on my hand and it truly feels like a tap. Use it responsibly and if you don’t know, ask! These guys will have the answers.
