Utah Bird Dog Training provides professional bird dog and obedience training in Payson, Utah, backed by nearly 20 years of experience. We train retrievers, pointing dogs, and family dogs through structured board-and-train programs, from puppy foundations and obedience to advanced upland and waterfowl training. Our goal is to develop reliable, confident dogs that perform in the field and are enjoyable to live with at home. We work with dog owners throughout Utah and across the West.

I brought my dog in for obedience training and I was worried because she was so stubborn. The team did an excellent job of working with her over the two month period. It’s as if I have a brand new dog! Taking her on walks is a completely different experience. She is always by my side never pulls on the lead and doesn’t run around chasing other things. It’s so nice to have her place on her bed and stay there while we cook and clean in the kitchen. She’s also a much more confident and mellow dog. Thanks so much for getting her to a good spot.

Ian was an excellent trainer for our dog Oreo. Oreo is an excellent walker, great listener, and an overall sweet dog. They helped him thrive in his environment and become an integrated member of our family. We are thrilled to be able to take him more places with his better behavior. Utah Bird Dog Training trained my French Brittany. They did amazing. They really look after your dog and support the dog owner to maximize the investment in your best friend. I highly recommend letting them train your dog.
