V3 Gun Dogs & Canine Academy

We had our ~6 month old high energy English springer spaniel puppy complete 5 weeks of the puppy boot camp board and train. We couldn’t be happier with the results, within one week she had graduated to the E-collar and responded extremely well to working with it. Jeremy and Jacob established that she had a strong bird drive early on so they were able to fine tune her flushing and retrieval skills. With all of the work that V3 did with her, they were able to build a very strong foundation for her, and us, to continue her training process once we brought her home. On top of all of the dog training, they also had us come in weekly so that we could train with her building our confidence to work with her, and also working on things that we could do at home to continue her training. She is by no means finished in her training (she is still very young), but V3 got her to a point where I can confidently take her hunting this fall and we can also take her into public without worrying that she will be a wrecking ball—V3 did an amazing job and I would recommend them without hesitation to build a great hunting companion as well as a family pet. Jeremy is super responsive and takes complete ownership of his “product” I have asked him numerous questions since picking her from camp and there is no hesitation in getting a response—this is far more than a business for Jeremy, this is passion for him and his team! Lastly, Jeremy will find a program that fits you and your dog’s needs best; whether it be board and train, one on one, group sessions, young or old dogs, hunting or family pets, his approach to training should work with most dogs!

Finding the right trainer for your dog isn’t easy. The majority of trainers you will tell you what you want to hear, but that won’t get you anywhere. From before I even brought home my GSP puppy, Jeremy was upfront with me and level-set on what I should expect. Jeremy and Jacob are with you from day 1 and make themselves available at all stages. Their approach to training is easy to understand, and clearly works. My GSP will continue to train with V3 and all of my future dogs will go to V3 regardless of where I live.

Recently brought our German short hair pointer for the 1 month training. She did both obedience and hunting. Highly recommend them. Our puppy didn’t listen at all after training what a difference! Still same loving cuddly dog but now she listens. She even listens when a deer is encountered on walks! They quickly got her finding and pointing at bird. Could’t be happier. The owner and staff are so knowledgeable and explain everything they are doing and why.
