Jeremy is professional and knowledgeable. He helped us out and trained our pup on short notice for a NA test. He updated us on our pups progress through regular videos, pictures and messages. When we went to pick up up our dog he spent hours going over strengths and weaknesses as well as educating us on how to properly handle and reinforce our pups training. Above and beyond in every way Jeremy is top notch.

Fully recommend working with Jeremy if you get the opportunity. We talked to a few other trainers in the general area and found Jeremy to be much more responsive and got a good feeling from him right away. We sent him our awesome 6 month old puppy with more energy than sense for a 6 week board-and-train. I appreciated that his approach to training was based on what he saw from our dog and not some set of hard and fast rules. This was especially important to us because our dog is a less-common breed in this part of the country. As a result, our dog progressed in a major way without losing an ounce of her personality. We live pretty far away, but I was still able to make it out for several training sessions throughout the board-and-train. Please make the effort to get out there as much as possible if you go this route - learning how to handle the dog was super important. The end result was a dog with a solid obedience foundation, high level of comfort with an e-collar, and exposure to birds/gun. We went from pulling a dog around on a leash to letting her run off-lead with the confidence she will come when called. In the field, she flushes (she's a spaniel) and retrieves great. Anyone who tries to tell you a 6 week program can get you a "finished" dog is either going to disappoint you, mistreat your dog, or both. Jeremy was realistic from the start and has given us a foundation that we can build on. And that isn't to minimize the impact Jeremy was able to have - I didn't expect to get this dog into the field this season, but she's definitely ready to get out there.

My Vizsla was with V3 Gun Dogs for a month-long board and train. Jeremey understands the Vizsla breed well, and I felt confident leaving my more sensitive dog in his care. Jeremy was quick to respond and sent frequent updates when my dog was with him. The board and train included a weekly 1:1 session, that was a valuable hands-on learning experience for me as an owner and handler. The beginner gun dog boot camp put us in a position to easily earn 3 qualifying passes toward an AKC Junior Hunter title. In addition to bird work, my Vizsla gained a ton of confidence working through Jeremey’s dog obstacle course that he has setup on his property. My dog’s obedience skills were also fine-tuned, and her heel work is now excellent. I highly recommend V3 Gun Dogs.
