V3 Gun Dogs & Canine Academy

V3 Gun Dogs and Jeremy are amazing! Our pup Chiara, 1 year old GSD had no training and lots of energy, which in NYC could mean trouble. Not after the excellent training by V3, now she is still a puppy and with lots of energy and playfulness, but controlled and directed. We can go on long walks in the city, visit other dogs and receive visitors at our apartment, all under control and with discipline. If it were an appliance I would check the serial #, because she behaves like an entirely different puppy.

From the very beginning, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to work with Jimmy Bob in a way that built both confidence and solid obedience, and the improvement was incredible. Jimmy Bob came home more focused, better behaved, and much more responsive. You can tell they truly care about the dogs and treat them like their own. Jeremy and his team were amazing in training my Vizsla River for hunt training which included recall training. 2 years later that dog has the best recall i’ve ever seen. stops on a dime and returns to a heal even if i am not in site. boom right back to me!!! and having her advanced obedience and therapy dog training she’s allowed to come into the office with me and do some therapy work with the office!

Our experience at V3 Gun Dogs was top-notch! Our dogs, Johnny and Earl, were both rescued from Aruba, causing them to hold onto a lot of trauma and PTSD. They are reactive to fear, and not necessarily that they are “bad” dogs. However, we could not fully trust them to be with other people other than ourselves due to their abusive past. This made it hard to find someone who could take care of them when we went on vacation, without worrying about any triggers that could harm the dog watcher. That’s when we found Jeremy and his amazing training crew. Thankfully, they took Johnny and Earl in. Despite it being a challenge at first, we found that they are more confident and obedient after being trained in public and around other dogs. The thought of loving your dogs so much, yet not knowing when a trigger could provoke a scary situation, really put us in a challenging position and left us unsure where to turn. That’s why we are so happy we found V3 Gun Dogs and very pleased with the progress that Jeremy made with our doggies. His team was very professional, friendly, and supportive throughout the process. We will definitely bring our dogs for boarding in the future. We could not recommend more!
