V3 Gun Dogs & Canine Academy

Jeremy and Mike were Amazing! We dropped our Bodie off to them with some behavior problems and bad habits. After spending 4 weeks there with them, Bodie came home transformed. Their team taught Bodie the habits and routine that he needed to boost his confidence. This helped to reduce his anxiety and helped him become the dog we knew he was capable of becoming. Jeremy was committed to helping Bodie and us achieve the goals we set out to obtain. We appreciated their skills, passion, and guidance and are very thankful. The facility was far from us, but Jeremy was flexible and accommodating to help meet our needs. This academy deserves an A+ and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the help and training for their canine friends. They really know what they are doing and we remain grateful.

After struggling with a reactive dog for years, I was referred to 3V Gun Dog and Canine Academy by a coworker. After reviewing their website, I decided to send both my dogs for boarding, as they feed off each other. Jeremy assessed them and recommended 3 weeks for my reactive dog and 2 weeks for my other dog. Both were trained by Matt, who did an outstanding job. My reactive dog required 4 weeks of training, and Matt also kept my other dog for consistency. It has been four weeks since they came back home, I haven’t had to yell at them, and they are much better behaved. For the first time in six years, I had my brother over, and both dogs performed excellently. Walking my reactive dog is a work in progress, but we’re making great strides. They no longer bark at passersby, and my neighbor noticed their improvement. At 7 and 8 years old, I only wish I had done this sooner. I’ve even referred a coworker whose dog will be coming home today, and I’m sure she’ll be thrilled with the results!

Brought our 1 year old male GSP to Jeremy for some initial individual training sessions and Jeremy made quick work in laying a basic foundation for some obedience with our hyperactive disobedient dog and we decided to have him boarded for the 3 week training Obedience course with v3 Gundogs. Alexis at V3 made even quicker work of turning Otis into a great family/house dog with tons of improvements on listening, follow through, and focus with Otis. She worked many commands into him that he simply used to just not care for. With us having a newborn at home it was imperative Otis would learn key words like place, here, heel, and sit. He has now had these worked into his vocabulary and understanding so well where he knows what to do when we to him. He isn't perfect and will require reminders and some training on my part but 90% of the time he does what he should and that is all in credit to Alexis at V3. Anyone that knows GSPs, knows that they are ridiculously stubborn and can be very independent in their decision making, but Otis is a changed dog my wife, myself, and everyone that's been over has noticed a huge difference in his obedience. In the future, I will be taking Otis back to v3 for some bird dog training as I'm sure he and myself will soak up a ton of knowledge on bird hunting. Thank you to Alexis and Jeremy at V3 Gundogs!

We brought our dog Riggs to V3 Gun Dogs and Canine Academy, to Jeremy’s 3-week Board and off leash training program for his reactive behavior towards both other dogs and strangers. Jeremy is amazing and did wonders not only for Riggs reactivity but wonders for training ourselves in how to deal with his reactivity. We are still working with it towards strangers but it’s a work in progress and we feel 100% confident that we will over come this behavior in time with Jeremy’s after care. He’s here for us and the rest of Rigg’s life. How can you go wrong with a commitment like that? To us that’s true dedication and commitment!! His off-leash obedience is off the hook. We cannot tell you how often we get complimented on not only how beautiful Riggs is but also how well trained he is. We feel very confident in any situation we take him in. We can’t recommend Jeremy and V3 Gun Dogs Canine Academy strongly enough.
