Vacay 9

I sent this text to Brian, the owner of Vacay 9. My Goldendoodle went through the 3 week board and train program and the Off Leash program. Brian and Emily have done an AMAZING job training him! Vacay 9 is a fabulous training facility! I highly recommend them!! "Hey. I just wanted to share with you that I just took Snickers on a walk and we made it all the way around the neighborhood! Which is impressive on it's own! Things started off a little shaky but he finished VERY well. We even encountered two men on REAL motorcycles! A dog in a front yard, a young girl playing basketball in the street and two teenage boys washing a car! He was definitely paying attention to them but didn't make a sound or even go crazy! He still makes very minimal eye contact with me even with a hot dog and I had his e-collar set on a 12 and he was listening to what I asked of him especially after getting buzzed for not doing it the first time I asked him. Positive reinforcement!! Overall it was a pretty enjoyable walk for once! I know I don't thank you enough for all your time and extra efforts you've put in with him! I am very appreciative of you. I was concerned in the beginning when I adopted him that he might have been a lost cause but you've really helped both him and I tremendously and for that I thank you!"

We reached out to Brian at VayCay9 when our young frenchie Hugo was having behavior problems. We had tried a puppy training class that uses a clicker and it didn’t work for us. It seemed like Hugo was not going to be a good fit for our family. We signed up for their board and train program and then started weekly one on one sessions with Brian. He was so supportive and gave us realistic things to work on. It took us being consistent with Hugo & Brian’s coaching to really make a positive change. Hugo is still the sweetest pupper ever, but now he trusts us & it feels like we can give him a command and he follows it! It is amazing & we can’t thank Brian & VayCay9 enough.

Our dog had a great experience at Vacay 9 and so have we. She had issues with extreme barking at dogs, scooters, bicycles, people in general, which drove us crazy. We had tried prescribed meds to calm her but they were of little help. We learned about Vacay 9 through our neighborhood website so we signed our dog up for the 3 week board and train program. Brian took her off the meds and we got a much improved dog back. She has been much less anxious. Prior to the Vacay 9 training leash walking had been a challenge. She now stays with us and listens to commands. We highly recommend Brian and Vacay 9. Steve and Patty
