I don't even know what to say about Valkyrie... but I'm going to do my best... Long story short... My girlfriend moved in with her intact staffy mix (Male). I had two rescue staffy mixes (one male and one female both neutered). The two boys were having an awful time integrating with each other. I have a moderate amount of experience with dogs... but they were a handful. We tried literally everything... I reached out to Valkyrie... and from the start, they gave our situation so much attention and care. They set realistic expectations and didn't over promise anything. Needless to say... they exceeded expectations. They treated our dogs like they were their own. And it didn't feel like a business transaction... rather, they treated us like neighbors and fellow members of their community. I am beyond impressed with them. And truly proud Brunswick has people like them as part of this community.

Where do I begin? Valkyrie Prestige Kennels turned my very smart, stubborn 3 year old German Shepherd, Mira, into the best version of herself. The change in her is amazing. She is focused, attentive, responds immediately to commands, and looks to me for direction for the first time. I feel 100% confident in her responses to my commands thanks to the training I received from them when she was ready to come home. I now know I can walk on the beach or in the park and not worry about chaos or her knocking somebody down. I can open my front door without the person visiting being jumped on, and I do not worry about her charging other dogs to "play" while dislocating my shoulder and shouting "she's friendly"! Our walks have become peaceful and enjoyable for both of us. She is still the loving, sweet girl only now with manners and a job. I am so thankful to Mike and Jen. They made her feel like she was a part of their family. I received consistent pictures, videos and updates. They even went above and beyond the call of duty to figure out what food and motivational treats worked best for her to keep her healthy and energy up. No small feat. While I missed her terribly, I knew she was safe and in great hands with them. Having the hard earned qualifications of a Master Trainer makes a difference. I am truly in awe of my dog's behavior. It has changed our lives. 10 stars. Trust and professionalism. Knowing they are there for life should we need "tweaking"or refreshing in any areas is such a bonus! The post-training "check-ins" to see how we are doing is the icing on the cake. Thank you, Mike and Jen!! Mira sends kisses!

Our vet recommended Valkyrie Prestige Kennels and within a few days, we had an in-home consultation with Mike and Jen. Several weeks later, Genie – our six-month old mini dachshund – was in school and a member of the Valkyrie family! Genie was getting the best training we could provide at home, but we knew dedicated instruction from a Master Certified Trainer would be beneficial to Genie and us. Jen sent regular text updates with pics and videos of Genie’s progress throughout her training. We are elated and in awe of Mike’s ability to transform Genie’s stubbornness into obedience and comprehension. When training concluded, Mike and Jen brought Genie home. We could see the bond that had developed between Genie, Mike and Jen during these three weeks. Mike and Jen spent time with us explaining the commands Genie had learned and what we needed to do to incorporate her training in our day-to-day activities. Jen has reached out several times since Genie has been home to see how she’s doing. And, as a bonus, we know Mike and Jen are an e-mail, phone call or text away should we need their help in the future! We highly recommend Mike and Jen. So much, in fact, that we anticipate using Valkyrie again later this year for our second mini dachshund.

I am a very satisfied customer of Valkyrie Prestige Kennels. I have been burned before with a previous dog with another trainer who was allegedly the best in our area. He charged just as much if not more. Then he taught my dog nothing. When I heard about Mike’s Master Training credentials I contacted them. They came to my house to meet my very high energy Doberman with some bad habits. Within 2 minutes and no command, Mike had her sitting staring at him with a little treat. She stayed that way for the 20 minutes. I was impressed then and knew I had made the right choice. I took her to their facility and they trained her for 3 weeks. When they brought her back, Mike showed me what he had trained her to do and I could not believe it. She used to snatch treats out of my hand and he taught her to sit, get down. Then put the treat or her food down and say leave it. She doesn’t move until I say good girl and put it next to her. I also use this command to not have her snatch toys from my hands when she brings them to have me throw them for her. My sister, who knew her was totally impressed because she knew what she usually does. Mike also taught her to heel and not pull on the leash when walking. He taught her more things too. I am a Veterinarian and I completely trust Mike and his wife Jen. They are the nicest people you will ever meet and they do not talk down to you. Most other Trainers in our area have little to none training and can only teach them to sit and shake hands. Do yourself and your dog a favor and have Mike train them. You will love the results.
