After being pulled face-down into the ice and snow, I realized my 4-year-old Bernese Mountain dog and I needed professional help. Now Beatrice looks to me for guidance and our walks are much more pleasurable. We've also seen great success with her recall. Sophia is an absolutely wonderful dog trainer and a truly beautiful soul. From the moment I met her, I was struck by her kindness, patience, optimism, and genuine love for both people and animals. She has such a calm and confident presence, and it makes all the difference when you’re feeling overwhelmed. I came to Sophia with a very awkward and intimidating situation — managing three large dogs while being a smaller, older woman who was honestly scared about handling them in public. Two of my dogs are rescues, so you never quite know what behaviors you’re going to get, and my biggest goal was simply to be able to walk all three dogs safely and confidently in public. In a surprisingly short time, Sophia helped make that happen. We are now walking comfortably and confidently together. We still have progress to make, but she gave us the tools, structure, and confidence to move forward, and that is priceless. Beyond her skill as a trainer, Sophia is just a remarkable young woman. Sometimes you meet someone who quietly touches your heart, and she is one of those people. Her compassion, dedication, and love for dogs truly shine through in everything she does. When she shared that one of her dogs lived to be 17 years old, it spoke volumes about the kind of care and devotion she gives. Sophia, it was such an honor to meet you.
