Vice and Virtue Dog Training

We boarded our three dogs for a little over a month with Joelie and we were so glad that we did. We are extremely selective with where our dogs stay because of their breeds, ages, and requirements. We have an 8 year old Great Dane who still acts as a puppy, a 13 year old chihuahua who is mostly blind now, has dietary requirements, and is on heart medication, and a 7 month old borzoi puppy all with stable temperaments. All of these dogs are very different and simply managing them together due to size alone requires a bit more effort than some would like to deal with however Joelie excelled at care for our animals while still allowing them to interact with one another safely so that they still felt comfortable. We did not once have to worry about any altercations and or accidents with other dogs in regards to ours. I was not once concerned for their safety due to the facility they were in. This business's kennel area is concrete with raised comfortable beds and secure kennels they stay in so everything is easily sanitized and kept clean. They have a large gravel outdoor yard area they can freely run in that is sanitized daily as well and kept free of feces. This facility had no urine/feces smell and barely a "dog" smell to it at all while it is still located on their personal residence and farm. I was extremely pleased with everything when we looked at the facility itself prior to leaving our dogs there. This location is safe away from major roads and is secure. It also has a cement basement in the event there is severe weather which did happen while our dogs were boarded and Joelie let us know that they were all safely tucked in kennels/crates in the basement though luckily no severe weather escalated in their area. We are in the process of moving out of the country, so we were out of the country during this boarding which made me extremely nervous as two of our dogs are seniors. I was put to ease with almost daily updates and videos of our dogs enjoying themselves playing and relaxing contently. Our senior chihuahua was appropriately tended to with affection and care and not just left alone. Upon arriving to this facility for pick up we did not experience any poor customer service or any unpleasant discoveries. Our dog were not malnourished, they did not smell, were not nervous or anxious, and were not sick nor sickly when we arrived home nor had they sustained any injuries. They were just as they were as when we left them though a bit dusty from outdoor play on the farm which was perfectly fine. Our dogs were by no means altered by their lengthy stay with this boarding facility in a negative way. If anything they were more relaxed and better emotionally regulated by just being there around and in a stable and clean while controlled environment. Hands down would board with them again. We drove over 2 hours to board at this facility and it was ever bit worth it as I was not impressed with our more local boarding facilities in regards to our dogs specific requirements like regarding medication. Again, so grateful we found this place and Joelie and her family. They have been hands down a gift so that we did not have to immensely stress over the dogs while working out moving countries and having to travel back and forth for a month.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love Jolie! Not only was she great with our dogs, she taught us everything we needed to know about commands and developing our dogs’ routines as well. She has absolutely turned our dogs’ demeanors around. She is very accommodating, very professional, polite, and very prompt when we had questions. We have recommended her to our colleagues at work (that are seeking dog help). I would recommend Jolie without hesitation to anyone in need of a trainer!
