FirstBarkTess is an amazing trainer. We have had her train 4 of our dogs and still to this day they place on our dog beds when we have company come and do not get off until we free them. I also love how well they walk with me after her training them, they stay right beside me. I would highly recommend using Tess to train your dogs. She is wonderful to work with!

Tess has really helped me with my 2 Corgis (age 4 and 3) and German Shepherd (age 5). Before starting training with Tess, I felt my 3 dogs were in charge of me - when it should be the other way around! They didn't come when they were called or walk with me nicely. It was if I was their servant - just good for putting food in their bowls :) Well Tess changed all that in a heart beat! We had them on e-collars and walking with me and it began to feel so much more pleasant around the house. As if they began to respect me... And on every step of the way, Tess explained everything very carefully and detailed, so that I could understand what was needed for success. I would recommend this program and Tess to anyone who wants to enjoy their relationship with their dog to the fullest. It has been a complete game changer for me. And when you think of it - you hopefully have your dog as your companion for a good 10-15 years. So every dollar you spend on properly correcting bad behaviors is worth it! Go ahead/do it!

Tess’s knowledge, expertise, and deep understanding of dog behavior are truly exceptional. She has a natural ability to connect with dogs, and it shows in the results. My dog has been doing “in‑home” boarding with Tess for years, and staying with her has genuinely become his second home. He absolutely loves it, especially the big backyard and his daily playtime. I always have complete peace of mind knowing he’s safe, happy, and cared for like family.
