Joe is the best of the best. He understands the dogs. You know those guys that have the presents the dogs just listen too and make it look easy? That’s Joe. He’s probably seen it all and knows how to avoid problems and what just works. He’s a REAL trainer with a solid program. He’s time after time in the top winners at the armbruster. I’ve hunted with him and it makes you embarrassed how well trained his dogs are. I’m talking REALLY good. Great deal for this level of trainer. Don’t ruin your dog on another trainer you’ll never be able to fix. He has outstanding membership training videos on his website for a great price. Just do it.

Spent a couple of days with Joe at his training facility working with my Drahthaar. His facility is clean and well laid out with access to fields and ponds. This is my 3rd hunting dog, but 1st one that I'm trying to train myself. I quickly learned I was a little over my head. Joe was able to teach me how to better handle and train my dog. He explained his training techniques in an easy to understand manner, applied them to my dog with good results, and (most importantly) taught me how apply the same techniques. As an added bonus, using other dogs at his facility, he showed me future techniques to use as my dog progresses. Once my dog and I get a good handle on the tasks we are working on, I'll definitely return to learn more advanced skills; hopefully sooner than later.
