I've recently found out that I have to have urgent surgery on my neck. I will be reco for approximately 2 months. I have a 15 month old German shepherd. He was a rescue from Reno. Does anyone know a foster place or board?
Paul at Von Dubinhaus Shepherds boards. Hes great and his dogs are well taken care of. I've left my Shepherd with him for up to two months for board and training. He took good care of him and my dog loves him.

Paul has experience with GSD’s and bully breeds and he works with the dog to get the results needed to help you give your dog the life it deserves.
Paul doesn’t do the work for you, he gives you the tools and guides you in training your pup. Paul’s rates are extremely competitive and he is passionate about getting the best from each dog he works with.
Would I recommend Paul at Von Dubinhaus to friends? Yes! Would I use him to help me with another dog, also yes.

Paul has literally saved my relationship with my 15 month old German Shepherd, Maya. I was struggling with being able to handle her high-energy, stubbornness, and overall temperament. He thinks outside of the box and pays attention to details with each dog individually. When I first brought Maya to Paul, she was out of control and unable to focus during training. I was feeling hopeless. We tried multiple things until we found the best solution for her success. I like how he is very straight forward and doesn’t beat around the bush. In just a few short months, I feel confident that I can adequately handle Maya in various situations. He helps you train your dog and gives you the tools to be successful as a handler. We are still meeting 1 time a week and Maya loves going to see him! I look forward to learning more and advancing Maya’s training.

Paul has helped me and my German Shepherd immensely. When I came to Paul my dog Remington was very reactive to people (men especially) and other dogs. She was very anxious and has gotten over so much of her worries and fears. Now Paul and his male handlers are some of her favorite people and she loves working with him. She is friendly to new people now and is getting over her fear over other dogs. Paul has also helped with her training in general and the agility course he provides for Remington to use has helped channel so much of her energy.
