Walking With Walter Dog Training

We have a 6 year old pitbull/hound mix named Chief who needed some help with basic commands, as well as reactivity and resource guarding. My husband and i decided it was time to take care of this as we were expecting our first baby in Sept. We did the 4 week board and train with Lawren and Chief came back a different dog! Not only did he gain the confidence he needed but he learned how to be a good dog and be happy while doing it. Lawren also taught us how to help Chief be the best doggy he can be! Highly recommend

Lawren has been absolutely God sent to our family. I called him one day after finding him on Google. I was so desperate (to the point of tears) to find answers for our pittie, who has severe allergies, and behavior issues that stem from her agony from that, and from being attacked as a 2 year old dog, years back. Lawren was so kind and he answered all the questions and concerns I had, over the phone, without me even booking an appt. Which ultimately won my business, hands down. We booked a consult with him right away after that, and he has continued to amaze us with his experience, skill, and all around natural ability to work with dogs. My jaw has dropped (okay maybe just in my head) several times during training, because he has been able to get our dog to do things that I never imagined she would be able to. Including, but not limited to, her being in the same vicinity as another dog. Something I thought would be impossible. We can’t thank you enough Lawren! And we will definitely be customers for life. 🙏🏻

We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Lawren! When we first started training our dog was pulling us on the leash constantly, got away from us once, and had an extremely high prey drive. She also struggled with some reactivity with towards other dogs and people. After working with Lawren, she is able to go out to eat with us and sit nicely under the table, be off leash and reliably recalled, and be around people and other dogs. I can’t say enough good things about Lawren! I have a Doberman who has been a challenge! My biggest battle was leash walking and managing leash reactivity to other dogs. Lawren’s calm nature and confidence not only transferred to the Doberman but also to me! Lawren provided us with skills to approach walks with confidence and has made our daily walks enjoyable! I was referred to Walking with Walter Dog Training a year ago and wow what a difference I have seen in my Doberman! Not only did my dog get a lot of valuable training during his 2 week boarding stay, I was also taught throughout this process the correct way to mitigate/redirect “bad behavior”. I truly believe with exceptional guidance from a qualified trainer (cough-cough*Lawren) and using the right tools, you will see a huge change in your dogs behavior. My dog Banx, no longer pulls on leash, barks at his triggers such as (squirrels ,bikes ,rabbits) and most importantly I feel safe when him and I are out and about going on walks, or at the dog park or hanging out at a Brewery!
