Waller K-9 Training

Love WallerK9. I chose a Labrador Retriever as my canine companion. At nearly 70 years old I knew I would need help to train her to help keep me active in the sports I loved. The Vet at Theodore Veterinary Hospital recommended WallerK9. Not only was my pet trained to all commands and beyond but her human, that being me, was trained as well. I have literally written three pages of accolades on our experiences but decided it was overkill. Just know that the facility, what we affectionately refer to as the farm, and The Man, Dylan, are Amazing. Do I recommend WallerK9? 1000%

Dylan was an excellent trainer for our two dogs. We had a pitbull and a standard poodle, and they both trained together. Dylan was always prompt. The dogs were always relaxed around him. He worked with different commands over different days, repeating the lessons over different sessions, and the dogs got better and better. The dogs listened to his commands and obeyed. Then he had to teach us. He taught us how to give the commands and how to continue to work with our dogs. By the end of our sessions, the dogs were well behaved and listened. And of course it was on us to continue to use the methods that he taught us and our dogs. I absolutely would recommend Dylan and the services he offers. Worth every penny! In the future if I have other dogs I will hire him again.

Dylan with Waller K-9 changed our 4 year old, shepherd-mix dog Chewie for the better. Our dog was always socially problematic and we could never get him to interact calmly or simply not react to people and other dogs. He was deemed too reactive to board at the vet and we couldn't trust him to be in the house with strangers. While Chewie will still have some problems being social and will need to be kept on a routine, Dylan helped us train obedience and Chewie has reacted to each command with ease. We walk him now and he does not pull to bark at other people or dogs and we have walked him inside a pet store once or twice now and had no issue. Chewie can now sit calmly in his kennel if someone has to enter the house and does not bark continuously like before. Dylan spoke plainly about his breed mix and how his behavior works and what we would need to do to keep him from reacting too badly. He also worked with our crazy work schedule to meet up at least once or twice a week to do training sessions with him at his place, in our neighborhood, and at local stores and even held Chewie a little longer than our initial pick up day to allow us a quick weekend getaway before we got him back. Dylan will always be honest (and was honest with Chewie's reactivity even in the worst scenarios we faced) and he will always work with you with any problem faced. I would highly recommend using him to invest in your pet's future, especially since we saw no light at the end of our tunnel with Chewie. Dylan gave us that hope back to have a stress-free life with a dog again.
