Waller K-9 Training

I got my dog Kikko when she was about 1 year old, from an animal shelter after she’d run away from her previous owners. Long story short, she had a lot of problems when I got her - she’d run away and could escape just about any fenced area, was incredibly reactive to any other dog/animal she came across, and she had separation anxiety and would incessantly whine and bark if I was ever away from her. From very early on I knew that I wanted to send her to a board and train facility but it took months of research to actually pick somewhere that I trusted. I would say a thousand times over that Dylan has an incredibly kind heart and treated my dog with love and respect during her 6 weeks there (she was even sad when he dropped her off at home and left!). As someone with a famously stubborn dog breed, his emphasis on not breaking your dogs spirit is something that sets this facility apart from many others. After training, Kikko came back a much happier and calmer dog, she walks amazingly on and off leash, has great recall now and can “nicely” interact with other dogs. Sending her here was one of the best decisions I have made as a dog owner, the skills Dylan taught me and my dog made our relationship and ability to communicate considerably better. Waller K9 is absolutely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a dog trainer.

We couldn't be happier with the results from the Waller K-9 4-week training program! Our 2-year-old medium-sized American Eskimo Teddy came into the program with high energy, a stubborn streak, and some behaviors we struggled to manage on our own. Examples chasing cars and jumping up on people. By the end of the four weeks, the transformation was incredible. Not only did our dog learn reliable obedience commands (sit, lay down, stay, come, heel), but we also saw a huge improvement in focus, leash manners, impulse control, and overall confidence, without him loosing his high spirit and joy. Dylan took the time to understand our dog's breed, personality ,and tailor the training to fit his needs, making the experience both effective and positive. I liked also that he used treats, the leash, and then only transitioned to the e-collar near the end of the program after a solid foundation and understanding of expectations for the dog had been established. What impressed us most was how much Dylan and his team partnered with us; and emphasized teaching us as owners, so we felt confident continuing the training at home. The communication throughout the program was excellent, and it was clear they genuinely cared about our dog's success and well-being. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated dog trainer who delivers real results, we highly recommend the Waller K-9 program. It was absolutely worth the investment, and we're so proud of how our American Eskimo has changed in just four weeks! I am continuing to maintain and build on his progress.
