Waller K-9 Training

Our girl Daisy loved spending some time with Dylan! We were hesitant about sending her because 6 weeks without our girl sounded scary but we were allowed to go visit a few times and even take her for lunch, see how training was going, and bring her snacks! She was always super sweet just had trouble staying off the counters, jumping on people upon arrival, darting away from us. When she came home she had learned so many new things and was so well behaved! I’m so grateful for this program because she truly is the best baby in the world. If you’re thinking of sending your doggy I would suggest Waller K-9 training any day for training/boarding! I knew she was loved and cared for by Dylan and even his wife whenever we couldn’t be with her!

I really cannot say enough positive things about Waller K-9 and Dylan. My experience has been extraordinary. I have been fostering dogs for a local rescue group for several years. A few months back I was asked to foster a dog that had just gone through his program. When the rescue decided to send Max to training, it was to mitigate behaviors that would typically make a dog unadoptable. He was not people friendly (hard to get a dog adopted that way), was very protective of his foster family at the time, and lacked confidence (fears which can show as aggression) when corrected, making it impossible for his foster family to train him. These are tough behaviors to correct, specially on an adult dog - so Max's future was bleak. I didn't know Max before training. But the dog that I took home that Friday afternoon after 4 weeks was calm, very obedient, very friendly to people and just incredibly sweet to me and my lab. He was a perfect candidate for adoption. He was at my house maybe 2 weeks before I realized there was no way I'd let him go. Max went from being a skittish, insecure dog that snapped out of fear and who clearly lacked discipline and self control to becoming a confident, loving, calm, obedient companion who I take with me everywhere dogs are allowed (and some that aren't!) The results have been so impressive with Max that I am now working with Dylan to mitigate barking, skittish and reactionary behaviors my lab has had since puppyhood (she's 2.5 years now and I adopted her at 2 months) despite having had professional training. I absolutely recommend it. The facilities are also amazing!

I was driving one morning listening to the radio when I heard an advertisement for Waller K9. At the time, I had been searching all over the Mobile & Baldwin County area for a trainer that offered both boarding & training. I decided to check them out, looked through their Facebook page, & instantly loved what I saw. I reached out & they responded quickly, making everything as plain & simple as possible. They explained that my puppy, Shilo, who I had just adopted from the shelter, could start at our convenience. We scheduled him for their two-week puppy training camp. When we dropped Shilo off, he had absolutely no training. The team at Waller K9 welcomed us, showed us around their facility, & my wife & I were impressed with how well everything was set up. From the very beginning, they stayed in regular contact with us, giving updates on Shilo’s progress & milestones. By the end of the two weeks, we were amazed. Shilo came back a completely different puppy—calmer, more focused, & already mastering basic commands. What impressed me most was that even though it was just two weeks, it felt like he had received months of professional training. Everything Waller K9 promised, Shilo was able to do…& even more. Most importantly, they treated him like family. When he came back, he wasn’t just trained—he was happy. That meant the world to us. I would highly recommend Waller K9 to anyone looking for a professional, trustworthy, & caring team to train their dog. They delivered beyond my expectations, & Shilo is proof of it.
