Ward's Dog Training

I strongly recommend avoiding Ward's dog training. While they have a persuasive sales pitch that leads you to believe they can effectively resolve your dog's issues, my experience has been quite different. Their primary training method relies on a prong collar, and despite attending their four-week broad and train program, my dog remains fearful of strangers. She continues to pull on the leash, ignores commands, cannot sit on command without corrections from the prong collar, and is unable to walk calmly on the leash without constant corrections. When we expressed our concerns, they blamed our dog's age and lack of socialization, claiming she simply thinks everything is a game. They also stated that they did not observe these problems during her sessions. However, we clearly identified these issues in the training videos they sent us and pointed them out when we raised our concerns. Please consider this before investing your time and money.

We had a fantastic experience with Ward’s Training! Our Master Trainer, Jordan, really listened when I explained the main issues we were having and tailored the training to what our puppy needed. Since completing the board and train, we’re already seeing improvements, but the biggest takeaway for us has been learning how to continue the training ourselves and implement the behaviors we want at home. That knowledge has made such a difference and gives us the confidence to keep building on what Jordan and his team started. Jordan and the entire team were absolutely amazing, and the experience was worth every penny. We’re so thankful for all of their help, patience, and expertise. Highly recommend Ward’s Training! 🐾
