What are the usual prices? We just got a puppy and she needs a lot of work. Starting with stopping her from running in front of me and tripping me. I’m pregnant so this is something that needs to be trained out of her now.

Hello David! I'm not completely sure what your question is, but I'll do my best to respond. We offer multiple training programs, including programs where you drop your dog off to stay with us and train, or other programs where you bring your dog in for training at a scheduled time and take the dog home with you after the session. We had an amazing experience with Wasatch Canine Camp! We were on vacation visiting the area and needed a safe, reliable place for our Boston Terrier, Willow, to spend the day while we did non dog-friendly activities. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Creating her online profile and uploading her vaccine records was quick and easy, and all of the information we received beforehand made us feel prepared and confident before dropping her off.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure Willow had a fun and safe day. She came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for, which is exactly what every dog parent hopes for. We even received a report card and photos/videos of her stay. It’s such a relief knowing there are places like this. We highly recommend Wasatch Canine Camp to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring daycare for their pup!

I have a dog whose worst fear in the world is being in a kennel. When trying to decide if I should board him here, I expressed this fear and asked what he would stay in. They said they have smaller dog runs and kennels but that the longest he might be in a kennel for is 2 hours when they need to clean the dog runs. So I felt comfortable letting him stay here for the 5 days we needed.
On the day we were set to pick him up, I received a text saying my dog Harold had been vomiting and had diarrhea but that they took his temperature and it was fine. I offered to pick him up early and they said that would be great so I let them know I’d be there in 20 minutes. When I got there, they said Harold’s doing a lot better today, yesterday he was super sick! That was odd to me, why wouldn’t you tell me the day he got sick instead of the next day when he was getting better but was scheduled for pickup. It seemed like they were trying to cover up for why he might seem off when I picked him up.
When they brought him to me he had a huge bloody scab on his nose! I said oh no Harold what happened to your nose and the girl said yeah I noticed that, did he not have that when you dropped him off? I said no he didn’t but he’s had a much smaller version of this in the past when we put him in a kennel and he tried to break out because he was so terrified. I asked if he was in a run like I was told he would be and she said no we had so many dogs that he had to be in a kennel. I was shocked!! And it made sense that he was throwing up and having diarrhea. He gets so stressed in small enclosed places, I could not believe that they had been putting him in a kennel this whole time when I specifically checked to make sure he wouldn’t be. We’ve had to leave Harold in a kennel before. The longest we’ve done it was 3 hours and he did have a small patch of blood on his nose when we got home. But the patch of scabs and blood he had on his nose after his stay here was at least 5 times the size. So how long was he in the kennel for?? Did they even let him play outside? They did tell me that once he started getting sick they moved him into a run so he wasn’t having to lay in his throw up or diarrhea, but I doubt that.
When I picked him up they said he was just hosed off so he’s a little wet. You could still easily see the patches of green and yellow on his fur which leads me to believe that they heard I was coming in 20 minutes and quickly tried to hose off the vomit and diarrhea that he clearly had to lay in. I know Harold, he would have never chosen to lay in something gross unless there was no other room. So I think they left him in a kennel and that they didn’t even hose him off until I came to pick him up.
When we got home I noticed he wouldn’t stop licking his paws. I looked at them and they were all red and raw. I spoke to the vet and they said that this most likely happened because Harold was standing in his diarrhea and vomit which is very acidic and it burned his paws. I just can’t believe the treatment Harold received here.
I understand that there are lots of dogs and you can’t constantly attend to one but I can guarantee you all of this would have been avoided if you didn’t put him in a kennel like I told you! I feel so bad for my poor Harold who was literally shivering and exhausted when I brought him home because he probably wasn’t able to sleep for 5 days. I will never be using Wasatch canine camp again!
