What are the usual prices? We just got a puppy and she needs a lot of work. Starting with stopping her from running in front of me and tripping me. I’m pregnant so this is something that needs to be trained out of her now.

Hello David! I'm not completely sure what your question is, but I'll do my best to respond. We offer multiple training programs, including programs where you drop your dog off to stay with us and train, or other programs where you bring your dog in for training at a scheduled time and take the dog home with you after the session. I never really thought that I could turn from a cat-person to also love a dog. Wasath Canine Camp has given me knowledge and confidence and a lot of joy exploring classes and also just talk to the trainers and staff. I've lived and boarded my dog in 6 different states and this has been the best place by far. I drive 45 min one way to take my dog here. I have a large German Shepherd (102 lbs) that can have a hard time bonding with some people and he does so well here. The staff is kind and truly understands how to lead + supervise dogs. They also take the time to write report cards for his stay, post pictures of the daycare social time, and post pictures from one on one play sessions which I've never seen from any other boarding place I've booked with. What set Wasatch Canine Camp apart was their expertise in dog behavior and the philosophy they have around dogs socializing together. It's been a game changer for me.

My dog Olive, a Doodle, has spent time at Wasatch Canine Camp and Dog Training in Orem. It started with Saturday morning Social Class where Olive met so many new furry friends and I learned to know some really nice dog owners and also trainers. This is the place to get good answers to questions you might have, regarding your dog and how to train, to learn the right techniques - to understand your dog. I am so impressed with the love, companionship, the positive attitude, kindness of the staff. This camp and training is all love and logic. We use the day care program also, and Olive is very exited to go there. We don't go every day but it is great to have a reliable place for my dog when I need some time for a project or work. I had my dog boarded at Wasatch for almost a week. Steven was the best caregiver there by far! He was so kind and caring in his responses and even texted me on his own to send me pics and videos of my dog while I was gone. I was nervous about leaving her while I was on vacation and he was very responsive with my concerns and texts. I felt like the others were shorter/curt with their responses to my texts. Also a little disappointed she didn’t get a bath at the end like I requested on the order, the other staff member said she didn’t notice the request. My dog got a nail trim instead and I can’t remember if I requested that. My dog also came home very thirsty both times I brought her home despite being told the dogs have access to water at all times. Also, I didn’t understand the schedule for the dogs. It seems like they are let out for social time once or twice a day and then are in their kennel. You can pay for them to get extra 1:1 time/play time, but you’re lucky if the staff gets to it. All in all, it’s a really good place because of people like Steven, but it’s not worth the drive if you live in Salt Lake or Sandy, like someone else said on here.
