Wasatch Peak Dog Training

Wasatch Peak Dog Training (Kyle Bass) is amazing! We recommend him without hesitation. Kyle is so knowledgeable with dogs and is so patient with the dog and us. We first signed up for the 4 week puppy training, which was very helpful for us to understand the mind of a dog as well as things we should be doing to help adjust to having a puppy. We then followed up with the 3 week board training. The time and money spent with Kyle proved to be worth every bit. Our dog came back with so much growth in obedience and ability to adjust to our home and lifestyle.

I would definitely recommend Kyle to anyone. We have two dogs, 2.5 and 1.5 yr olds, and they were totally unruly. Our Husky would run away at any chance of escape, and our Samoyed was an avid leash puller. They would also beg for food relentlessly. After three weeks with Kyle, both dogs are able to walk and heal off leash, go to their "place" or bed while we're eating, and wait perfectly at open doors until we release them from their commands. It's a dream come true.

I would highly recommend Kyle! We started working with him a few months after we adopted our two and a half year old standard poodle. He has a lot of anxiety and aggression towards some other dogs, including one that was also living in our house hold. It was very hard trying to keep them separate, having him by himself in a room because he couldn’t get along with the other dog. Talk about feeling like a horrible mom! We did a nine week training and Kyle would come to the house. I was amazed with the results, and each week we learned something new. He’s very down to earth and very kind. He’s very easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. I felt I could ask him any kind of question and practice training with him there without feeling uncomfortable. My dog is now better at tolerating the other dog! He didn’t only train our dog, he trained us as well. We now know how to set our dog up for success. We now have the knowledge to help our dog be his best self and keep him comfortable in his time of need. Without him I don’t think we would be where we are right now, cuddled up in bed. I can’t thank Kyle enough!!

We cannot recommend Kyle enough! We are raising our first puppy and would be drowning and overwhelmed without Kyle. We started working with him right after we brought our puppy home at eight weeks old. We participated in the puppy program where Kyle came to our home four times and gave us puppy training lessons, and then sent her to his board and train program at six months. The results were honestly miraculous. She is part husky, which are energetic and notoriously stubborn, but she has learned so much and obeys so well. We can walk with her off leash on the road by all sorts of other dogs, people and distractions and she will stay by our side. It’s really a dream come true. Kyle is so calm, and that really rubs off on the dog and the owner. It helped us feel calm through the process. He is patient and knowledgeable and great at demonstrating and teaching you the skills you need to help your dog. He is always responsive when we have questions and easy to communicate with. We’re heading on a vacation, and are so grateful we can leave our pup to stay with him. She was so happy to see him and be back at his house for the week!

We have an English Bulldog which are notoriously stubborn. My dog would just look at me when I called her like I was stupid. She also loves to jump on people and run over to new people. We did the 3 week board and train with Kyle. When we got our dog back from Kyle she was a different dog. She now comes immediately. I can walk her with out a leash and she stays with me! She sits with me when we meet new people. It’s amazing. The board and train price is high but you totally get what you pay for!
