Gordon is extremely knowledgeable of the traits and behaviors different breeds possess. He will give you tools to better address your personal training journey. I contacted him to handle what I thought might be aggression in my mini bull terrier, that he assessed to be resource guarding. Through various exercises, he empowered me to have a better relationship with Rebel, allowing us to eventually concentrate more on obedience training, particularly leash manners. My dog has not been reactive since our sessions, even in what were previously problematic situations. Gordon has a no nonsense approach and will call you out when necessary. Gordon has been nothing short of amazing to work with. My dog Kojak is a very nervous puppy around people and also over active when it comes to dogs, and he immediately took to Gordon. I have seen such a shift in his personality and disobedience since starting our work together. We’ve just finished Webster’s Dog Training Obedience Program and we couldn’t be happier. We wanted a local trainer who would come to our home and offer us private one on one instruction - Webster’s Dog Training is based in Venice very close to our home and offer this service at a very competitive rate.! We also chose to work with Gordon because he took the time to explain everything properly on our phone conversation and then followed that up with a free in person consultation.! When we met him, we had over 30 questions. He again took the time to politely explain everything in detail to us and additionally explained the full content of his program as well. Our rescue dog Stevie had a few challenges - Leash Biting , Counter Surfing , Lunging Forward On The Leash and wasn’t Crate Trained but Gordon assured us we could bring them all into line with the content of his Obedience Program. The program was four weeks long and contained 8 x 1 hour sessions, two sessions a week for the four weeks. Gordon comes to you ( very prompt ) he encouraged us to video record the entire session. When the session was over, Gordon emailed us very detailed handwritten training notes. Here’s something that we really enjoyed. Gordon encouraged us to send him short training videos. We could send up to 6 x1 minute videos a day for Gordon’s gentle feedback. One thing that stood out to us very quickly - Gordon’s patience with Stevie - he obviously loves animals and Stevie absolutely loved him back.!
